The hefty bouncers at the entrance threw me a curt nod and swerved aside so I could let myself into the rowdy space that was echoing with boisterous music surging from somewhere in the background. The loud music and the cheers from the sweaty crowd fell in sync with each other, rendering the building a madhouse.
The neon lights that surged from every angle in the room made the people the center of its attention, filtering on their skin and giving it a neon glow. I grimaced, tucking my hands into my pocket while I struggled to weasel my way through the sweaty bodies while ignoring the sultry looks that were thrown at me by the half-naked ladies.
