Hazel's POV
The King forced me to spend the night in the palace even though I didn't want to. Since Norland was quite angry with me, I decided to stay and give him some space to think.
Princess Mira was not happy with the decision and she made her mind quite clear.
I was in the guest room, resting when I heard a knock on the door. Before I could stand to open it, it opened and Blaze walked in with just his night pants.
As usual, his chest was bare for all to see. I quickly looked away, not wanting to get tempted as he got closer.
“How do you feel?” He asked, sitting on the stool beside my bed.
“I'm fine, you don't need to check up on me before going to bed,” I told him. It was a bit out of character for him from what I heard the maids say.
