Lucien's POV
Was this my punishment? I was in a daze, not knowing how I had gotten to this point in my life.
Everything seemed bleak and my Luna whom I once loved, suddenly doesn't seem like the bright sun to me anymore. Coupled with the fact that she has been unable to give birth, I was so tired and disappointed.
I paced outside a High Priestess home, waiting for her to accept my humble self. I needed to know exactly what was going on with me. My wolf no longer spoke to me. My pack seems to be falling apart too.
The doors were opened and a young girl came outside.
“The High Priestess is ready to see you now,” she announced.
“Finally,” I grumbled and hurriedly entered the house before she changed her mind like she had done a few times.
