When Alessandro returned to his quarters that night, he saw Abril looking very scared. Normally, she always seemed nervous, but that day she appeared even worse.
"What’s wrong?" He asked.
"Today, Lady Elizabeth explained to me how babies are made, and it’s horrible." Abril answered with tears in her eyes.
Alessandro wondered what exactly Lady Elizabeth had told her to make her so upset. He wasn’t sure if it had been better if she hadn’t said anything at all. Alessandro sat on the edge of the bed and asked, "What exactly did Lady Elizabeth tell you?"
"She said something hard and big was going to enter my body, and it would hurt a lot. I don’t want that," Abril said.
"I think Lady Elizabeth didn’t explain it correctly, Alessandro replied.
"So, it won’t hurt?" Abril asked.
