I arrive twenty minutes early for our date. It’s important to get a feel for a place. This is just one reason among many I’m a believer in being early. For one, it’s a strategic move. It puts the person you’re meeting at a disadvantage from the get go. It may be subconscious on their part—but they’re late, even when they’re not—and just like that, already you’re ahead.
