Chapter 5 (Caged)

Jasmine’s POV

Life was never easy for me. I was eight years old when my parents were died leaving me alone to live with my uncle and aunt. They were sweet until I had my parents but once they left I saw their real faces.

They started beating for all small mistakes. I used to get yelled at if I cry for my parents. And the only reason they were bearing my presence was that I had a huge property in my name. Once I would turn eighteen I will get everything and they were planning to snatch that away from me.

One day after my college and all household work I was going to my room when I heard them. I was shocked to know that they were planning for my marriage as soon as I turn eighteen with their choice of a man for the money.

I didn’t sleep that night. The next morning I reached college and tell everything to Alex. He took me to the lawyer with him and he gave me advice about that. I was never interested in my money but I didn’t want to lose the heritage of my parents so I agreed with them.

On a Sunday morning, I informed my uncle and Aunt that I love Alex. Of course, they were not so happy with my decision. But when I told them that I want to give all my property to them for taking care of me and as expected they became sweet again.

They said yes to our relationship as I was turning eighteen in a month. The month passed in a blink. Thye stopped torturing me. They used to give me gifts and everything to be in my good books. On the 20th of Sep, I turned adult and it was my time to show them who is Jasmine Warner.

Alex came with his lawyer to my birthday party. I wanted to finish everything as soon as possible. I took the papers from the lawyer and signed them after reading them. As soon as I signed the papers, Aunt and Uncle also signed without even sparing a glance what was written in it.

I have thrown them out of my house. Yes, the house in which they were leaving has also belonged to me. So the servants and other staff were always concerned for me. They used to help me with lots of work. They helped in this plan as well.

Once they were gone I gave all my properties to charity except our ancestor’s house. I shifted to a rented flat with my college friend hoping that I will get a proper house when I will marry Alex. But seems God has different plans for me.

Today, I am caged in this room in the palace of Allen. Yes, the day he brought me here I fainted in his arms. I was not scared but I was starving myself to death but all my plan was ruined when I was kidnapped by Allen’s men.

****Flashback Starts****

Allen’s POV

I asked the doctor, “Doctor, What happened to her?”

He gave me a death glare. Seriously, a doctor friend can be very dangerous. He said with gritted teeth and said, “I know you use girls as your w***e but that doesn’t mean you will make them starve.”

“What?”, I asked shockingly.

What the hell is he saying? She was at her home and she was in a good condition how does it possible that she is starving?

He stood and said, “Don’t give me that look. She has not eaten for the last three days. Can’t you see her eyes and her body?”

Before I say anything else he showed me his finger to stop and continued, “Let her eat something. I would suggest you stay away from her unless she recovers.”

“How much time it will take for her to wake up?”, I asked with a blank face.

“Within 15 minutes, she will be up.”, He said while packing his bag.

I instructed my brother, “Jack, show him the exit.”

My doctor friend, James gave me a glare and left.

I turned to the melody, my maid, and said, “Get the food now.”

“Yes sir”, She left with that.

I sat near her on my bed and took a good look at her face. The last time I saw her face was glowing like a flower. She was in a good figure. But now she is looking pale and her body is much thinner than before.

I touched her face and tensed. I wonder what made her starve herself. I will get my answer once she wakes up. I was tired so I laid beside her on the bed and slept unknowingly.

I was very near to her face that I can feel her breath on my face. I am not a heavy sleeper. I can wake up with a wind noise too.

She said, “What are you doing?” and I woke up. She pleaded to me with teary eyes, “Please leave me. I didn’t do anything?”

I held her both hands and pulled her to my chest. She was looking into my eyes and I knew she was scared but I saw some unknown feelings too in her eyes. I told her, “Trust me girl I have nothing to do with you as long as you say yes to my order and answers my questions.” and I pushed her back.

I stood and grabbed the food plate and put it on the bed near her, “But before that getup and eat this.”

I said but she didn’t move from her side. I went near to her and said, “Do you want me to help you in eating?”

“No”, she said and took the spoon and I sat in front of a chair near the bed.

She brought the spoon near to her mouth but didn’t eat. Might be she remembered something. But I was done with her. I placed my gun on the table to show her, “Trust me you are testing my patience.” but got no response.

I yelled, “Eat Jasmine.” and she took the first bite.
