Chapter 1

"Do you truly wish to be burnt alive?" A man with black hair and a long beard asked as he sat atop a dragon. "Burn me if you so wish!" The girl standing in front of the dragon said with no fear. "HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND FREYA ATWELL" the man yelled. "Perhaps" Freya told him. "But as others have learned even I am not so easily burned by dragon fire " she told him. "BURN HER ARGO!" the man yelled. The dragon opened his mouth and his throat began to glow a bright orange. "Sehlaotni Mujrunaqwa Argo" (Clam down argo) Freya said in the dragon language. Argo suddenly closed his mouth and tilted his head. "Ki niralaqwa ezruyu qwaru felabuni laqwamuj ki huraotkiragera ezruyu meqwaruna hofelaho horu" (I mean you no harm and I believe you know that to) she said taking a step toward the large dragon. "You're insane" The dragon rider said before pulling the reins of the dragon. "Fly argo" he told his dragon and the dragon took off in the air. Argo was a large red dragon, he was also quite young for his size, he was only 53. And yet a man like Sir Sirius Smithe who couldn't even speak his dragon's language was his rider, it was truly a shame. Freya turned to see 2 large eggs on the ground, one an emerald green mixed with blue while the other was a mix of silver and gold. "These must be what sir Sirius was after" Freya said to herself as she kneeled down to the eggs. They were most likely dragon eggs by the scaly look of them. But where did they come from? There were very few wild dragons, and every kingdom that has dragons carefully watches their own unhatched eggs. Freya carefully picked up the eggs and began to Carry them back to her home. It was a small house hidden within the woods that very few knew about. But that was how Freya liked it. As Freya placed the eggs in an empty chest the door suddenly opened. "I see your finally home" a handsome man with blonde hair and blue eyes said as he closed the door behind him. "Yes and look what I found" Freya said turning to him. "Are those..." he said pausing, as he walked over to where Freya stood. "I believe they are," Freya said. "I've never seen wild dragon eggs," she said. "Sir Sirius smithe appeared to be looking for them" she said. "Do not tell me you faced his dragon" her husband Sebastian said with concern. "Not so much faced as stood in his path" Freya said turning to the eggs. "Honestly that man doesn't even deserve to be called a dragon rider" she said "he cannot even speak the language in which dragons understand" she told Sebastian. "If he had gotten those eggs I'm sure their future riders would have been just as Sir Sirius is to argo" she finished. "That is not for you to decide my love" Sebastian told her. "I know that" Freya replied. "But something deep inside me tells me that these eggs are special" she told him "that these eggs are meant to be with me" she added. Sebastian smiled as he looked down at his beautiful wife, with her long flowing silver hair and emerald green eyes. "And pray tell how you intend to get these eggs to hatch?" Sebastian asked her. "Dragons need the flame that takes a life in order to hatch," she said, turning to him. "And I do not wish to end someone's life even if it means I'll finally have a dragon," Freya told her. "What are you saying?" He asked her. "Perhaps I'm just meant to hold them until their rightful rider comes," she said, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Now shall I wash up so we can go into the village and enjoy the festival?" She asked him. "I pray you do not take as long as always, else the festival will be over long before we arrive" he said jokingly. "Laqwamuj ki jebulaez ezruyu mujru otralagera nira hurafekiqwamuj" (and I pray you do not leave me behind) she replied. "Qwaragerabu" (never) he told her. Freya quickly went into the other room and changed into a nice green dress, by the time she came out of the room it was already dark. "Ready" she asked him. "As always" he told her with a smile. Sebastian loved her very much. To him Freya was the definition of perfection, with her long wavy hair and her emerald green eyes. She had such a sweet personality, only wishing to help those around her. Even with her past it was as if she was raised by a saint. Sebastian took Freya's hand and led her outside the house. They walked down the long path that led to where the village was, and when they got to the small town they began to walk around. Going to different vendors, watching small plays, and dancing to the music in the square. It was how the common folk lived, and it was something Freya did not mind. She loved her life with her beloved husband. "DRAGONS" someone suddenly yelled from across the street. Sebastian and Freya looked up at the sky to see 3 dragons flying towards the village. "We must return home," Freya said with worry to Sebastian. Freya grabbed his hand and pulled him through the village, just managing to escape as the dragons landed. "We have come in search of her highness the treasoness Princess Freya Atwell" said a knight as he stared down at the common folk like they were nothing but trash. "There is a silver haired girl who lives in the forest Perhaps that is her" yelled a woman. The dragons and their riders did not hesitate to take off into the air leaving the village in complete silence. "Freya we must hurry and leave" Sebastian said as Freya took the eggs out of the chest. Suddenly the forest which surrounded them was lit ablaze. "It's too late," Freya said. "They have found me," she added. TO BE CONTINUED
