The ride back to my mansion is awkwardly silent as I didn't say a word to Clarence.
I can feel his eyes darting nervously at me. It's all Bill's fault, this dinner wasn't supposed to end like this.

Clarence clears his throat, his voice cutting through the awkward silence like a sharp sword. "Look, Tiff I'm sorry. I should have handled the situation better, I didn't mean to ruin dinner," he apologizes.
