I dropped to my hands and knees, careful not to cut myself on any of the broken glass and placed my ear to the floorboards. The water was disappearing through the cracks and trickling through to what sounded like a cave. The sound of the dripping water was echoing up from below me, reminding me of the sound of a waterfall. That meant that there had to be something down there… but what? The library was located on the ground floor. Theoretically there wasn’t anything else beneath us. Or so we all thought.
