“Hmmm, it looks like you’re excited to see me! I saw a huge bulge behind your shorts.”
“It’s not because of you. I could never see myself being attracted to you, even if the piece of cloth that hides your body was to be removed,” Reid insisted, sounding careless and seeming to reject her. Reid snatched his towel from Ruth’s hand.
Reid slowly started walking away to steer clear of her. Ruth let go of the wine glass in a quick burst of strength, sending it flying through the air. Her frown deepened as she watched the glass break into pieces. Reid stopped walking and faced her.
“How could you possibly insult me like that?” Ruth exclaimed angrily. “You’re gonna regret being rude to me.”
