Hospital.
Tara's car drove into the hospital compound, she stopped and got down from the car, she walked into the hospital and walked to one of the nurses in the outpatient department.
“Hi, where is Miss Mara Donald's room?" She asked.
“Room 100." The nurse responded and Tara nodded, she reached the room and opened the door. Bronx is sitting beside Mara on the bed holding her hands, while the doctor is standing beside them, Mara is awake.
“Tara! You're here, doctor young, can we do the bone marrow transplant today!?" Bronx asked and got up immediately.
“Yes, let's take a sample to make sure she's matched first."The doctor responded and walked up to Tara.
“I'm not giving her my bone marrow." Tara said confidently.
“Tara, if you don't give me your bone marrow, I might die, but again that's what you want isn't it?." Mara asked calmly as fake tears dropped off her eyes.
“Hmm, Are you sure you're gonna die, Mara? Do you even have leukemia?" Tara asked softly but mischievously.
“Tara! Why are you like this? It's just a little bit of bone marrow, it won't hurt you, you can save Mara!." Bronx yelled at Tara.
“Bronx! First you wanted my blood, now you want my bone marrow, when are you gonna realize she's been lying to you!?" Tara yelled back.
“It…it's ok Bronx, Tara hates me, she probably wants me dead, maybe doctor young can find another donor." Mara said sluggishly, breathing rashly.
“Tara please.." Alpha Bronx started.
“Bronx, shut up." Tara halted him immediately fiercely.
“Mara, save your crocodile tears, doctor nelson! Will you please come in." Tara said immediately, a new doctor came in.
“What!? What are you trying to do Tara!?" Mara asked, shocked.
“Professor Nelson? I thought that you were out of the country." Dr young asked nervously with fear in his eyes.
“Hello, I'm doctor Nelson, chief surgeon of this hospital." Dr Nelson introduced.
“Bronx I.." Mara stammered.
“Miss Mara, I looked at your medical records and blood test results, you don't have leukemia." Dr Nelson explained calmly. Tension filled the room.
“Nonsense you quack! Dr Young diagnosed me with leukemia!" Mara defended shivering.
“Didn't I teach you medical ethics in school? Young I am disappointed in you! Tara, it's so good to see you again, I have to run now for a seminar, oh don't worry your friend is fine, not only does she not have leukemia, she isn't even anemic with blood cancer." Dr Nelson finished and left, Mara felt ashamed.
“What the heck is going on here Mara!?" Bronx asked, confused about the whole thing.
“Dr Young! Who is this old quack!?" Mara yelled angrily.
“Please, don't call him that. Miss Mara. Dr Nelson is well-esteemed in our field and he was also my professor in medical school." Dr Young explained.
“I don't care!" Mara said.
“I shouldn't have ever lied to you all these years." Dr Young confessed.
“What do you mean by Dr Young? All these years?" Bronx asked immediately, Tara smiled.
“Miss Mara, she is not actually sick, she's been…" Dr Young explained.
“Shut up! You liar!" Mara cried out.
“Ugh, Alpha Bronx, it's better you ask Miss Mara yourself." Dr Young said and left.
“No! No! Bronx you need to trust me!" Mara said, breathing heavily in fear.
“You…you lied to me? Mara?" Bronx asked, shocked.
“Stop faking it Mara, your little dirty secret is exposed now." Tara smirked.
“How dare you lie to me!?" Bronx yelled angrily.
“No! No! I was set up, believe me!" Mara cried out.
“Ok, you two have fun, please, don't call me again!" Tara chuckled and left.
“You disgust me Mara!" Bronx said and ran after Tara.
“I'm sorry Bronx! Please don't leave me!" Mara screamed, she cried loudly squeezing her hair.
Bronx ran after Tara and found Tara's car about to leave the hospital.
“Tara! Wait, wait!" Bronx shouted knocking at the car windows. Tara wined down the windows.
“What do you want now?" Tara asked sternly.
“I'm sorry. I didn't know, I should've…" Bronx said.
“But you choose to believe Mara over me." Tara cuts in.
“Just give me a chance, to make it up to you." Bronx pleaded.
“Mmm, how?" Tara asked.
“We…we can get married again, and I will give you as much money as you want." Bronx said and Tara scoffs.
“You still think marrying you is a perk for me, huh?"Tara smirked, she whined up at the window and sped off.
Edwards company.
Tara drove straight to her company, she reached her office and found Mira, her friend sitting in her office already waiting for her.
“Hi, good morning." Mira smiled.
“Good morning." Tara smiled back and sat down, a coffee was already placed on her table with a tagged paper written “Have a good morning by Alex."
“Your new little boyfriend?" Mira chuckled softly.
“C'mon it's not like that. He always brings you coffee every morning too!" Tara said and picked up the coffee with a shy smile.
“Uh-uh, but where's my complimentary message-of-the-day?" Mira giggled.
“Ok, next time you can take this off of my cup, and put it right on your cup." Tara chuckled and placed the note on Mira's coffee cup.
“No thank you! I'll find my own boyfriend." Mira laughed.
“Haha ok, I will go get a file from the HR." Tara said, Mira nodded and she left.
Tara was passing the corridor when she saw Bronx walking straight to her.
“What are you doing here!?Are you stalking me?" Tara asked sternly.
“No, I'm here to see a client, what are you doing here Tara? Are you working in the Edwards company?" Bronx asked, surprised.
Bronx still doesn't know that Tara is Edward, she used her mother's maiden name and hid her identity.
“It's none of your business." Tara said immediately and left. Bronx stares keenly at her.
Bronx walked up to Alex where he was talking about coffee.
“What's up?" Alex said, sipping his coffee.
“Do yourself a favor and stay away from Tara!" Bronx said angrily.
“Really? I thought you two were divorced." Alex responded and smiled.
“That's none of your business, and Tara won't be interested in someone like you!" Bronx said immediately.
“What I do is none of your business either!" Alex responded back.
“You're her colleague?" Bronx asked, pissed.
“Sure, if that makes you feel better." Alex responded.
“Go work somewhere else, I'll give you money." Bronx said.
“Woah, dude you think money is your superpower huh? Too bad, it's also mine." Alex chuckled softly and left.
Edwards mansion.
Tara walked into the house and found her grandpa signing some files with his laptop on his lap. She sat next to him smiling.
“Sweetie, how's everything going at work?" Grandpa asked her.
“It's pretty good, Mira's helped me a lot, thanks to her." Tara responded calmly.
“Ready to take on the real challenge?" Grandpa asked with smiles plastered on his face.
“Well, I might never be ready, but I think it's time to move on." Tara chuckled.
“That's my girl! Speaking of moving on, have you given your engagement any more thoughts?" Grandpa asked, dropping the files on the table.
“ugh, yes I'm willing to meet him." Tara said shyly.
“Great! Then let's host a ball that will provide the perfect setting for you to meet your fiance for the first time!" Grandpa finished with a cheerful giggle.
“Okay, sounds good!" Tara chuckled softly.
“Don't worry about a thing sweetie, you're going to be a huge success in business. And if your fiance turns out to be another dud, we'll just cancel the wedding!" Grandpa patted her shoulder.
“Thanks grandpa." Tara said.

Tara walked into the company with her grandpa holding her close to his bosom. Mara hid near a car and took pictures of them immediately, she dialed Bronx's number.
“Hey Bronx, did you check the picture I sent you?" Mara asked.
“Mara, isn't that Tara? What is she doing with Mr Edward and what are you doing in the Edwards company!?" Bronx asked and Mara swallowed hard nervously.
