Sabina's Pov

After I left the restaurant, I went straight home. I have to say my new villa in Italy, Tuscany was all that I had ever dreamed of but never thought I would actually have. As a teenager I had always loved Italy and had always dreamed of visiting there, it would have never crossed my mind that I would one day own a villa in one of the most beautiful places in Italy.

It was a beautiful Morden villa that overlooked the ocean which made for the best view and the best sunsets. The property consisted of two units that were of great value, the main villa had very classic and refined exterior features. The villa had three separate floors one of which was separated from the rest and we had turned it into a whole different apartment for me. Arianna and the rest of the other employees had their bedrooms on the other two floors. The other two floors had 5 bedrooms in each although not all of them were occupied. The balcony in my bedroom had an entrance that took you to the back garden which gave the best view of the ocean; I normally used this entrance when I didn’t want to see anyone and especially when I was avoiding Arianna.

The main entrance on the ground floor took you straight to the triple living room with the Patio that was facing the garden , a large Morden size kitchen, a library, and a large office area where Arianna and the others worked.

There was also a guest house that we didn’t use for any guests but it was more like storage because that was where we kept new drug shipment. I know it was a bit risky to keep drugs in my own property but they were safer here than in some factory and anything I did was safe as long as I had Kate around. Kate always performed some spells to keep some of our things hidden from the natural eye and that was how we had managed to stay off the police radar for so long.

Arianna shared her space with her boyfriend Rob from high school and I honestly didn’t understand how they had made it together for this long. Their relationship had a lot of ups and downs and I considered it to be very dysfunctional, but who was I to judge because I didn’t even have a boyfriend, to begin with.

Living with them as a couple was a little hard for me at times because they made me feel very lonely at times because they reminded me of what Alex had robbed me of. I was no longer hoarding any anger against Alex I was just very bummed that I had lost the love of my life.

The search for my mate was still on, that was according to Arianna. She wanted me to find love so badly that she was always so nosy about any business client that I ever met with. She would constantly ask me about how I felt when meeting them and all the details of the meeting. She wanted to know if I had heard anything from my wolf so far and the answer was always the same, I hadn’t heard anything from the wolf. But I knew that was probably because I was not open to any communication with her.

Arianna warned me that the worst thing would be for me to be mated to an Alpha again because Alphas were known to be very controlling of their mates and obsessive. She was worried about how that union would work because she knew I would never allow anyone to boss me around, if my mate was an Alpha then I would just get Kate to break the mate bond so that I could just move on with my life without any problems or disturbances.

My villa was often very busy because it doubled as an office, for me, Arianna, and my lawyers. I wanted them to work in my home office because we often dealt with sensitive information that I didn’t want to risk getting in the wrong hands by any chance.

Kate went almost everywhere with me and that was because she was a witch and witches sort of had a sixth sense for danger and she could protect me from such things. Arianna’s job was to keep things running from the office and she was like the second boss, she made sure everyone did what they were expected to do when they were expected to do it. Even when I was around she was the one who dealt directly with the employees because for some reason I scared them.

It was very important for everyone to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement, and that included Kate and the rest of the employees and excluded Arianna. If there was anyone that I trusted with my entire life it was Arianna. She wasn’t an employee she was like my sister and I knew that she always had my best interests at heart. Besides, if Arianna ever leaked any information to the press or my enemies about my businesses she would also be putting herself in the firing line.

At first, no one in the underworld knew that I was the brains behind all the genius, they all thought it was Piet. Because who would ever think a woman was a genius right, the day they saw me walk into the meeting they were all blown and half of them couldn’t believe that they had lost their territories to me, a mere woman. I outsmarted most of these men and gave them a run for their money.

When I got home Arianna was her usual self and wanted to know if there were any new developments in my nonexistent love life.

“no there was no cute guy at the meeting and no I did not feel a tingle in my heart when I met Roberto..he is fifty years old Ari,” I said and she burst out laughing when she realized that she thought my mate was fifty years old.

“Ok forget that, so how did it go with Roberto the fifty-year-old, did he sign the papers?” she asked eagerly

“Who am I?” I asked her with a smirk and her eyes lit up like a child seeing candy

“He did,” she said excitedly

“Yes he did,” I said opening my bad and handing her the papers

“Great, I will get Christiano to get started on the transfer,” she said

“Good, I want this deal to be over and done with,” I said as she walked out.

The reason I was about to take everything from Roberto was that he had kidnapped some girls and sold them to slavery, and he had unknowingly attempted to move in on my territory. The fact that he didn’t know that the territory was mine could have saved his businesses had he not gone ahead to traffic those girls. I had to spend a lot of money and step on a lot of toes to get them back and he had to pay for that by giving me his moneymakers. Most of the money I made from these bastards I donated to a charity that dealt with women that were either abused or had been trafficked from their home countries and escaped.

All my other businesses were doing very well and I was proud of all the success that I had achieved with all my team.

“Sorry to disturb you ma’am, but Arianna says there is something that you must see,” Kate said as she stood by the door to my office.

“OK I am on my way,” I said without even lifting my head to see her, I was too focused on what I was doing.

After I was done responding to the emails that I had to respond to I headed out to meet Arianna by the Terrance where she was being a nosy neighbor as usual.

“Do you think they are turning that Villa next to us into a hotel?” she asked

‘I don’t know and I don’t care, is this why you called me out here. I have s**t loads to do Ari” I said annoyed

“No, I actually called you out here because I wanted you to see this guy that was just standing there looking over to our house. He was so f*****g hot I swear if it wasn’t for Rob I would have run over and said hi” she said with a wink, how did Arianna manage to always have so much time in her hands when we always had something to do.

“Can I go back now?” I asked

“Why are there so many people over there, this is weird,” she said ignoring my question, I did the same and left her there still staring and mining other people’s business.
