The light on the emergency room makes Wesley anxious, as he walks around, smoking a cigarette.
Queenie walked towards him, wanting to explain herself despite not knowing what he’s thinking.
‘I don’t know if you’ll believe me, but Rainie’s fall wasn’t my fault. She was the one who tried to push me, and fell herself instead.’
‘If you want to create excuses for yourself, could you at least put in some kind of effort? Rainie’s leg was paralyzed 3 years ago when you hit her with your car, how could she stand?’ Wesley made a sarcastic remark.
‘What I said was true, I’m not lying!’ Queenie insisted.
‘Enough.’ Wesley doesn’t want to waste anymore time on her, as Queenie is nothing but full of lies.
‘I’ve been married to you for 3 years, don’t you know what kind of person I am?’ Queenie asks out of desperation.
‘I never wanted to know what kind of person you are.’ Wesley said cold heartedly.
And that’s the truth, he never loved her. If Queenie wasn’t drugged by her superior 3 years ago, and mistakenly ended up in Wesley’s room, they wouldn’t be married at all.
It was all an accident, but Wesley thinks otherwise.
Rainie was transferred to the normal ward soon after, and Wesley followed suit.
When she woke up, she looked weak as ever, attracting the attention of Wesley. Her weak appearance was the complete opposite of the evil woman who wanted to push Queenie off the stairs.
‘Wesley…’ Rainie wailed weakly, until she saw Queenie there as well.
‘Please let me go, why do you want to kill me? Please, I just want to be with Wesley, please give us your blessing…’ Rainie pleaded in horror.
Wesley held her in his arms, patting her head, ‘Don’t worry, I’m here, no one will hurt you.’
‘Leave.’ He said as he looked at Queenie.
Queenie bit her lips and walked away, but she was stopped by Wesley.
She was hopeful, maybe he’d want her to stay somehow.
‘Pack your bags and get out of my house.’ Wesley said.
