Chapter 11Thursday, September 8th Jeremy concentrated on the dishes. It kept more than his hands busy. If he focused on every motion he made, the sponge passing over dried and caked on food, the time went faster. He kept the water hot and filled with suds and always saved the silverware for last. Dirty dishes and filthy pots and pans were still better than washing silverware. Barry needed a dishwasher. Not a person. A machine.
