**Kaitlyn's POV**   Finally, this's the year I finally start high school at Chevaron High! I really want to enroll in this school since I've learnt that both of my parents were graduated from here. I have always want to make them proud because they made me realize and feel what true love is.       "Kaitlyn, dear, are you ready?"       "Be there in a bit, mom"   Lily, my mom or step-mother to be exact, called me from down stair, I check myself in the mirror one last time--What can I say? I want to make a good impression on my 1st day. When I head down stair, my dad almost spills his coffee.       "It's too much, isn't it, dad?"       "Nonsense! You're beautiful, Kaity. Is that right. dear?"       "Yes. Your dad was right. You're so pretty"   Even they aren't my blood related parents, not even once that they make me doubt in their love toward me. They adopted me since I was only 4, love me and allowed me to call them by mom and dad.       "Look at you--All grow up and now you're going to the same high school as ours!"   My mom cleans her hands with a towel before tucks some strands of hair behind my ear. She looks at me with slightly red eyes.       "We're proud of you, Kaitlyn"       "Even I'm...an Omega?"   I know this question is gonna be awkward , but I wan to heard them say it aloud. Because they both are Alphas and it always left me speechless to learnt that of all people, they chose me.       "Kaitlyn-- No matters what people says, you are and always will be...our beloved daughter"       "Yes. And we love you for who you are. You're different from us, but it doesn't make you any less wonderful, genius and kindest person you grew up to be"       "Mom, dad--Thank you...for everything"   They hug me close to their hearts and stay like that for awhile. I'd never thank them and my anonymous savior enough for changing my life forever, but I'll try to live my life as finely as I can for them.       "What're we doing now!? We've got a schedule to keep!"   My mom breaks us up and starts running around the house. I start a laugh with dad while try to keep up with her. After we finished our breakfast, they both insist on personally drive me to the school. It's my 1st day there anyway.       "Okay--Did you get everything, Kaity?"       "Yeah. I think that's everything"   Dad helps me recheck my belongings when we heard mom's yelling from  my room on the up-stair.       "Kaitlyn, you forgot you EHS!"       "Great"   I run to the front door where my mom drops my EHS. Emergency Heat Suppressants, for the window and wrap it around my upper thigh to avoid troublesome incident like lost or being seen. When I finished, mom runs down to join us with a modern collar in hand.       "Here-- It's well match with your clothes. Nobody is gonna spot it, I promise."   Smiling gratefully to her, I lift my hair up and had her worn it for me like she always did. After making sure there's nothing else we might have miss, my parents drive me to school.       "Promise me you guys are't gonna embarrass me in front of my new friend"       "What? No"       "Yeah, like your mom said"   It always turns out this way. I'm not complaining'cause I also like how things are between us. Mom's loving and protective while dad also loving and , well, secretly protective as well.       "Don't worry, kid. We crossed our hearts and really hope NOT to die"       "Daaad"       "Hihi. Your dad's just messing with you, Kaitlyn"       "Oh--One more thing. Today, I'm also have an appointment with your savior. What did you call her again?"       "Really!? You're going to meet 'Mystry'!?"       "Kaitlyn, slow down"   Dad grins from ear to ear in teasing when mom scolds me. He chuckles and continues.       "Yes. I'm going to meet Mystry for her annual check-up"       "Dear, don't tease her so much. You know how much our girl want to meet her savior"       "I just want a chance to properly say thank you to her, to get to know the one who helped you saved my life or at least learn who she is"   Mom gives me a comfortable rubs on my shoulder while dad grabs my hand and says.       "I know, kid. But she insisted on keeping her identity secreted."       "She had a good reason, Kaitlyn. I also wish we could tell you more"       "There has to be something I can do for her and you guys to show how much I appreciate your kindnesses toward me"       "Oh, Kaitlyn--You don't need to do anything. Just be yourself as our beloved daughter is always enough for us. Right, dear?"       "Yes. Your mom's right, Kaity"       "But, still--"   My hand accidentally hooks with turtle key chain I made while on family vacation oversea last summer. I rub it thoughtfully before come up with an idea. I unhooked it from my backpack and give it to dad.       "Would you mind pass this to her?       "What's it?"   He receives it while maintaining his gaze on the road. With a quick glace, he arcs his eyebrow in curious.       "Your handmade key chain?"       "Yeah. I want to give her something to show how grateful I am to be given a 2nd chance"       "Is that all? Would you like me to tell her anything?"   Frown thoughtfully as I use my head to think--What should I say to her. Since we couldn't meet due to her request on keeping her identity anonymous, so I never really think about it before. But then, my mind speaks on it own.       "Tell her that turtle represents good health and long life. While its shell means perseverance and protection. And..."       "And?"       "And say...thank you"       "Just like that? You want me to give her this key chain, say thank you and tell her what turtle refers to?"       "Yeah"       "Oh, Kaitlyn--You grew up to be weird like your dad"       "What, Lily!? I'm not weird--We aren't weird, are we, Kaity?   Once again, we share a laugh about what they just said. I don't know why I can't be direct with dad about what I want to tell Mystry. All I really want to say still stuck in my head. I want to tell her how grateful I am for her to protected me when I need it the most. I want to say thank you, for my great family, good health and wonderful life. And most of all, I want to thank her for gave me a 2nd chance.   After a little traffic jam and light chit-chat along the way, we arrived at Chevaron High. I step out of our car with my parent's blessing to start on once-in-a-life-time high school experience at last. **Continue on the next episode**
