“But how would Fae magic help the thrall?” Clare asked, confused. “If a thrall’s body rejects the vampire blood, there’s nothing that can be done. There’s no cure.”
At least that was what she had learnt. It was rare for someone to reject vampire blood that would make them immortal, but it happened once in a while. And when it did, it was recommended that the person be euthanized to stop the suffering.
Otherwise, the vampire blood would slowly eat away at their body unless they became nothing but ash. A painful, slow death in other words.
