By the time I leave the office, I'm about to lose my damn mind. I worked overtime for the first time ever.
It was so exhausting.
I loved it.
It's a few minutes past seven when I get into my car. I call Savannah as I pull out of the parking lot. We chat for a minute before she hands the phone to Tiana, and I promise Tee that I'll be home before she goes to bed.
I text Lana to confirm the bar they're in and as I drive there, I realize I won't be home before Tiana's bed time. There's a bit of traffic, and the drive to and fro the bar will take a while.
I won't stay there an hour as earlier agreed. I have to see my baby before she goes to bed.
A new number comes through as I speed to the said venue. I'm very tempted to ignore it since I've been on the phone literally all day,
