S O N G – Olivia O’Brien – I don’t exist
…
“What about school?” Danny asked her brother as she watched him get ready for his date.
“Tonight’s the big home coming game. We’ve been waiting all season for.” She reminded him but all he could think about was the date.
“Yeah, plus you’re the star player, we need you.” Colt nodded.
Would she like the restaurant?
His mind was filled with what ifs.
“Tonight’s more important than just a game.” Tate sighed and sat down.
“Is it?” Danny’s lips now pulled up in a smirk. He had just confirmed her suspicion. All the while Colt just shrugged. He didn’t really know what was going on.
“Yes it is.” Tate sighed, he had so much to deal with and right now he didn’t want to deal with a nosy sister and brother.
“Okay listen tonight is important for me so please don’t sneak out of set the house on fire. I just need tonight to go out.” Tate sighed and dragged his hands down his face.
“Okay.” Both Colt and Danny said in sync. They understood that he had a lot on his plate and wanted to lessen the load. He had always taken care of them and asked for nothing in return, it was the least they could do.
…
“Anna, clear all my appointments.” Rayna told her P.A. Emilio chuckled lightly and asked, “And what do you have going on that’s so important?” since he knew her schedule.
“Well if you must know than I have a date.” Rayna said with a smile.
“Oh? Who’s the lucky man?” Emilio asked.
“The guy from the other day.” Rayna told him.
“And what are you wearing?” Anna asked while Emilio wiggling his eyebrows. It was one of the many reasons she liked the both of them, their amazing taste in clothes.
“Probably this.” Rayna said motioning to her black pants and loose white button up shirt. It was both classy and boss like.
“No, wear something sexy.” Emilio told her.
“But that’s so much work…” Rayna whined but none the less went into her office side room and was followed by Emilio and Anna.
“How about this?” Anna asked while pulling at a blue dress but Emilio stopped her by shaking his head. “You need something sexy and innocent at the same time…ah this one.”
Emilio pulled a white dress that was a figure hugging ensemble. It had lace and went just above her knee.
“The Armani?” Rayna clarified. She loved Emilio’s of fashion but he never knew what was too much.
“It’s perfect…” Anna agreed with and nodded.
“Are you sure it’s not too much?” Rayna asked as she touched the fabric. It was surprising for both Emilio and Anna to see her like this, so nervous and full of doubt.
She was normally so confident and strong that when she was like this, it reminded them of how it all started. How they all came to be, how vulnerable Rayna was… the orphan girl who just trying to survive in this cruel world, who fought tooth and nail for a good life and how the world had robbed her of her innocence at such a young age.
And how far they had all come. They all owed it to her for the luxuries they had today and they going to spend their lives trying to repay her.

Mean while with Tate
…
“Okay, you can do this. If anything goes wrong I’ll take over.” His beast encouraged him as he fidgeted the plastic wrapping of the of flowers.
“Everything will be fine…I hope…” Tate said to his beast.
“Tate!” Rayna appeared; her dress embraced her in an envious way that showed her curves in the most flattering way while her makeup highlighted her natural beauty, putting emphasis on her bright blue eyes.
“Wow, you’re beautiful.” Tate said in awe as her drank up her appearance. He was truly blessed…
“Thank you.” Rayna smiled as she noticed his words or lack of the word ‘look’, and kissed both his cheeks in greeting. He was dressed in a white button up shirt that emphasised his masculinity and plain black pants and to put it in simpler words to her, he looked incredible and very much edible.
“These are for you.” Tate said handing her the bouquet of roses to which she accepted graciously and the inhaled the sweet scent.
“Thank you, their actually my favourite.” Rayna smiled fondly at the flowers in her hand.
“Really?” Tate smiled nervously.
“Yes, let me just give them too Anna to put in water then we can go.” Rayna told him and quickly handed them to Anna and left to return back to his side.
“Okay I’m ready.” Rayna announced with a wide grin and as the two set of they left a grinning Emilio and Anna.
“Okay you do that why I follow and make sure she doesn’t die.” Emilio smiled at Anna and kissed her cheek and left a scarlet cheeked Anna.
…
They arrived at a cosy restaurant that screamed intimacy and was filled with couples. They were quickly led to a private corner with the view of the forest.
“How did you find this place?” Rayna asked as she was in awe of this little restaurant that was in the middle of nowhere.
“I actually own it, well co-own it. My parents had their first date here and after they got married they bought it and made it their own.” Tate explained and smiled sadly at the thought of his parents.
“What happened to them?” Rayna asked noticing the sadness in his eyes.
“My mother died of cancer a few years back and my father couldn’t deal with it and after I turned 16 he committed suicide and left us to be with her.” Tate sighed, it was such a mundane way to die but at least she was at peace along with her mate. He knew that his father wouldn’t be able to last long without his mate.
“I’m sorry.” Rayna said and for once Tate didn’t see pity but sympathy.
