"Are you still in denial?" Elias approached me.
My heart was racing because I wasn't ready to face him again. I turned around slowly and locked eyes with him. "Huh?"
"Don't act so stupid," Elias mumbled. "I asked a simple question. Are you still in denial?"
"I was never in denial," I replied, glaring at him.
"I was never in denial," he imitated me. "Yeah."
"Can you leave me alone?" I narrowed my eyes at him. "Why don't you go to Daniel?"
"Let's go together," Elias shrugged. "Come on, before we are late for class."
I stared at him blankly. "Are you sure you want to be seen with me?"
"Everyone saw us together," Elias snickered. "It doesn't matter now, does it?"
