“You’re not usually so eager to leave.. I’m just surprised you’re acting the way you are... oh... is it that time of the month then?” Bully asked with a domineering voice, he was trying to make fun of the woman but it didn’t seem to work,

“If it was, I would have already punched your guts out but I guess it’s not.” Elizabeth said with a calm voice and a small laughter that was stuck in her throat. She hated when men used ‘that time of the month’ as a stupid way to make light of her. Yet since there wasn’t anything she could do about it she just went along with it.

“I see... then you have someone you like?” Billy suggested, he leaned his chin on the palm of his hand as he put a large smirk on his face much to the annoyance of the other person.

“What is it to you?” Elizabeth asked while looking up to see the man’s expression. ‘This guy... if only he wasn’t such an observant prick maybe he would be even a bit attractive...’ She thought to herself.

It wasn’t that Billy Carte wasn’t an attractive man, quite the contrary... He was rich, handsome and well educated. Quite a catch for any woman really but his attitude was the problem. He wasn’t one to easily shut his mouth and he often used his good observation skills to make fun of others. In short he wasn’t a likable person regardless of the fact he had plenty of all the best things in life...

“That wasn’t a ‘no’, was it?” Billy instantly caught onto the fact the woman didn’t deny his words. The smile on his face grew bigger as he continued to tease her.

“.......” Elizabeth went completely silent. She didn’t want to give him any more information than the man had already gotten from speaking to her. ‘Why did I have to open my big mouth?!’ She thought to herself as she remained calm outwardly.

“So who’s the lucky man? A CEO of a rival company? Or maybe... he’s an actor, model... a celebrity of sorts? Why don’t you tell me?” Billy purposefully gave several suggestions outmloud, he wanted to see the woman’s reaction so he could narrow down the people she might be dating. ‘Hm... she didn’t react to any of those... so I guess he works something else...’ He thought to himself.

“Haha... He’s certainly better than you, I can tell you that much.” Elizabeth said with a lighthearted chuckle. ‘Sadly for you... he’s not either rich nor famous... you wouldn’t be able to find him even if you wanted to...’ She thought to herself as she grinned at making the other sweat.

“I didn’t know you could develop a pair of balls just by liking someone... So... Why don’t you introduce me to this man that’s so much better than me?” Billy said as he gritted his teeth, he was feeling annoyed at the woman having the upper hand in the situation. Insults meant nothing to him to start with but being compared to another man was what really hurt his ego more than anything.

“Because unlike you, he has better things to do than play with others by ridding his daddy’s coattails~” Elizabeth spoke with such a lighthearted tone that indicated she was having fun in their interaction for once.

“So he’s self made then...” Billy was still having trouble figuring out who the man might be. ‘Judging by her exes... he might be someone that’s not that popular but rather influential... still... I don’t think he can be better than me..’ He thought to himself, and he had great reason to think so, since he was in fact one of the richest men in the country and some top of the world... He didn’t believe such a person that could be above him could be in walking distance of them.

Elizabeth smiled after seeing the man’s confused expression, this was certainly one of the best interactions they’ve had.

“I’d really love to wipe that smile off your face...” Billy said as he stood up from the table and walked towards the woman standing next to the door. “Hm... you never seize to make me mad... I guess that’s what I like about you.” He remarked as he got closer to the woman.

“Funny cause I don’t like anything about you.” Elizabeth said with an energetic voice. It was fun to topple over the man with an ego that was bigger than his height.

“That’s not what you said while you were moaning beneath me like a bitch... You must have enjoyed the experience at the very least... ha sugar t**s?” Billy asked as he tilted his head to the side, he was looking down at the woman as he spoke to her.

“It’s the only time you shut your mouth, so yes in a way I did enjoy it. But not thanks to that tiny limp d**k of yours.” Elizabeth said with an even brighter smile splattered on her face.

“Do you insist on insulting me like this?” Billy asked, now the calm expression completely disappearing off his face. He was mad for one too many reasons at this point.

“Don’t know, do you insist on being a nuisance for any longer?” Elizabeth asked as she also tilted her head to the side as if imitating the man. Of course both of them weren’t acting their age but this kind of passive aggressiveness was much better than outright threats.

“I’ll let you go if you come to the hotel tonight.” Billy said as he turned to look at the door. He dangled the keys off his finger and in front of the woman’s face.

“I’d rather jump off the window.” Elizabeth said as she made no attempt to try and get the keys from the man’s hand. She wasn’t desperate to leave nor did she want to give the other the satisfaction of acting the way he wanted her to...
