Geeta guided Scout to the middle of the point where balcony became walkway and then stopped. Sergeant Murray was speaking in low tones to the other guards and they were nodding and moving around the balcony. A few looked up at the tower behind them. Scout followed their gaze but couldn’t see exactly what they were looking at. Geeta’s hand on her upper arm gave her a reassuring squeeze, reminding her that she was as safe as the security team could make her, but Scout remembered her words, that it would be better not to try to find all the guns aimed at them, and turned back around.
