9 Geeta kept a hold on Scout’s arm, but more to support her if she tripped while her hands were tied than to restrain her. She led her out a door on the far side of the tiny office into a larger room filled with activity, all people in navy-blue jumpsuits like Geeta’s or uniforms like the sergeant’s, talking in clusters or working at desks. Sergeant Murray emerged from her office behind Geeta and Scout, calling out a few names. By the time Geeta had steered Scout across the room to a wide set of stairs, they had a dozen security workers in navy blue forming a phalanx around them.
