After I got to my parents I noticed there was a note on the door. I took it off and it read: "The Feelanes are not present at this moment. We will be back in a few days."
"What?! They never go anywhere..." I opened the door and it was unlocked, my suspicions grew like wild fire. This was unlike them, mother never left the door unlocked and father was the only one to go out days at a time. Why would he take the whole family...
As I looked through the house everything appeared to be normal. Nothing was moved, everything was in it's place like my mother liked it to be. Poise's s toys were in her little wooden box and the smell of maple roamed through the house. I inhaled it's sweet aromas as I searched through the house. Odd that nothing was out of order, maybe they did decide to go somewhere for the day.
I sighed as I let myself out. I wanted to see them and tell them what happened but I guess it will just have to wait. I decided to go back to the Castle, I had free time to snoop around anyway. As I went back inside I was careful not to attract attention to myself but as I turned to corner I bumped into someone.
"Oh-I am so sorry!"
"Emery?"
As I looked up Airell had his brow raised. Oh no...
"I've been looking all over for you, where did you run off too?" He asked buttoning his silky white shirt.
"I was-uh looking for my parents..." I had to stop myself from gawking at him. All of his clothes just fit him so well. I guess my hormones were reeving up...
"Emery?" I shook my head as he called my name. "I wanted to show you something, it might take a little bit of your stress away. Come with me." He said as he took my hand. His hands were so soft, they felt like velvet.
"Where are you taking me?" I asked as we rounded many corners and stairs. Finally we ended up at the very top of the castle.
"Alright, close your eyes." He said before opening the door. I raised a brow at him then covered my eyes. The breeze flowed through my hair as he opened the door, I could smell fresh air and lavender.
"Okay...Open." Airell's voice was like a whisper. I opened my eyes and saw a string of lights above me, they hung down from a canopy. The warm lighting gave me a bit of a romantic feel. The white iron table in front of me had all different kinds of flowers on it.
"Wha-What is this?" I asked.
"Do you like it?"
It felt like I had entered an entirely new world. "Are you kidding...I love it. What is it for?"
"You."
My heart jumped into my throat. I turned to Airell who had that same look in his eyes as he did when we were training. What was going on with him?
"I thought you could use a break from all the stress you've been going through." He said with a boyish smile. I felt a warmth in my chest. No guy has ever done anything like this for me...what was so different now? Airell went to the chair and pulled it out.
"Madam." He said as he bowed and looked up at me playfully. I chuckled then walked over and sat in the chair. I had a hard time believing this was real. Here I was with the most wanted guy in Fae woman history and his attention was on me. This was so new to me, I hardly knew how to react.
"Tea?" He asked raising the tea pot. I nodded my head as he pour the steaming hot liquid in my cup. I picked up the warm porcelain teacup and took a deep inhale. The smell of sweet spices tingled my nose and throat.
"Mmm, what is this?" I asked as I blew on my tea.
"It's a special mixture of mine. It's a bit sweet and spicy." Airell said as his eyes took me in while I sipped it. I cleared my throat, feeling a slight fluttering in my gut.
"Uh-Are you alright?" I asked as sat the cup down. He smiled then poured his own tea.
"Yeah, I'm fine, I did have a question to ask you though."
"Okay."
He leaned back in his chair, his eyes took me in...a little too much. I wrapped my arms around my chest, suddenly feeling uncomfortable.
"Are you Pure?"
I was so taken back by his question, I shot up out of my seat.
"Am I-What kind of question is that!?" A very personal one, I was not that comfortable with him now.
Airell did not seemed phased by his question which made me feel even more uncomfortable. Who in the world asks that question to someone they just met?
"Okay...I'm going to go now..."
Airell shot out his seat a grabbed my arm. "Wait, wait, I'm sorry I did not mean to make you feel uncomfortable Emery. It was just a question I need to ask."
"Wha-Why?" The only reason a Fae guy asks that question is when he wants to know if she has been "deflowered" it was a very personal question. I mean I've never even kissed a guy let alone been in bed with one...
"I ask only for the sake of my knowledge, Sadly I can not be with someone who is not."
My eyes narrowed at him, was he being serious?
"I'm sorry so-Your telling me, a prince of the forest cannot be with a Fae woman if she has been laid?" I tried so hard not to laugh but...this was ridiculous. Airell raised a brow to me.
"Have you?"
"...Yes." I lied.
"Oh? With you?"
Oh no...I took a big inhale and just made someone up. "Thomas."
Airell chuckled, then pressed his lips together. "Your cute when you try lie."
My eyes widened and my cheeks flushed. I swallowed a lump in my throat. Airell closed the distance between us and slipped his arm around my waist. I felt paralyzed, my heart pounded against my chest as he pulled me close. I looked into his eyes, I felt like a closed in mouse. He cupped my face with his surprisingly cold hands.
His face was so close to mine, we grazed noses and I could feel the slight brush of his lips. "You've never been anyone...I can tell by the way you react to me when I touch you..."
My breath caught in my throat, I wanted to back away but my body felt frozen in place. His lips inched closer to mine and by the time he place a soft peck upon them, the door swung open.
"Airell, you are summoned by your father." A guard shouted, Airell leered at him. I felt like I could breath again and quickly made space between Airell and I. This was way too close for comfort for me. I had to get away from him. I hardly know Airell like that and even if I did I was not sure he would be the man I would lay with first...
I rushed over to the door and made my way down the stairs. This was like I was in a dream, where suddenly I was wanted by a Fae men who was unbelievable gorgeous...not that I haven't dreamed about that but this just felt different. It wasn't magical like I expected it was, it was more intimidating. I really hoped I would not have to train with Airell for long because I did not feel comfortable being alone with him.
