Shane’s pov
I can not believe all of the fu.cking sh.it that has happened to me since I managed to find Aria again. I have lost everything, and everyone has turned against me. I know I had made a mistake as soon as I rejected her, and I felt her power. Then, when people had said they had seen a wolf fleeing the pack and described it, I knew for sure I had totally fu.cked up.
The way they described her, I knew she was special and held so much power. The fact that she shifted a year and a half before her birthday was proof enough. I don’t know anyone who has done that, not even the Queen. I knew I had to get her back, so I convinced Sam he had it wrong in they way he had been blaming her.
Not that I particularly cared much, but I needed things to be settled for when I got her
