" What?" He asked in a rude tone. His sister marched up to him and closed his laptop, he growled lowly as she sat on his ornate desk. The alpha frowned.

" I was working, I've told you so many times that you can't come here unannounced, Adeline," He all but growled, I felt tiny hands tugging on my jeans. I looked down and saw Zaza, she looked frightened. I put a hand on her small shoulder and smiled.

while the siblings argued, we remained silent. Dominic looked pissed, he spared me a glance then looked back at his sister, he glanced in my direction again, he sighed audibly and smiled. I knitted my eyebrows at why he was smiling. however, I couldn't dwell too much on it as I was most certainly captivated by his smile. He had perfect dental formula, and his features softened as his mesmerizing eyes, hell, even my wolf purred.

He c****d his neck more and I realized he was smiling at the little girl hiding behind my legs. He stood up from his chair and walked to our side, he was tall. He crouched down and opened his arms

" Hi, little princess," His voice was so gentle I was amazed, Zaza shyly walked out then jumped into her uncle's huge arms, Alpha Dominic easily caught her and lifted her in the air. She giggled and he laughed, it was music to my ears.

He kept throwing her in the air and she yelp and giggled at the same. Adeline stood by my side and wrap one arm around me, I almost flinched at her actions luckily she didn't realize as she was watching the two with love and smiling from ear to ear.

soon the laughter died down and he held little Zaza by his torso. He kissed her temple and asked.

" How have you been little princess?" She smiled and answered

|" Fi.. fine!" He smiled and kissed her again, to say I'm astounded by how gentle he is an understatement, after all, I'm looking at the worst wolf in the region being affectionate with his young niece.

" I missed you, I was lonely without you," he said. her smile grew wide.

" I .. i .. kn.. know," she stuttered her words. He put her down and sighed, he bends now and asked Zaza

" Do you want anything to drink?" The girl nods eagerly

" What? lemme guess, " he pretended to think. " chocolate dipped in marshmallows and cookies," Zaza clapped in excitement, jumping a little. Adeline began to protest

" No, no. Dom she is will have cavities,"

They both frowned cutely, Zaza looked at her mother, her big baby blue eyes welled with unshed tears, alpha Dominic had already promised to give all that, A tear left her left cheek, another then another and she started t sniffle. Dominic carried her in his arms.

" Come on, Adeline let her just this once," he said as he cooed the girl silently crying in his arms

" you always let her eat what she wants, it's not right," Adeline scolded, and Dominic smiled

" Of course, she's my princess," he said proudly. Through all this I was quiet with shock, they were talking like any other sibling relationship out there, my mouth was ajar, unfathomable. Is this the most powerful domineering alpha everyone fears?

' He loves her,' my wolf said in a soft tone. another surprise there.

The siblings were still debating

" She is only a child, and guess what that's what they like, why must you subject her to eating organic food she hates," Dominic exclaimed. Adeline chuckled nervously.

" It's healthy and I do give her candy... sometimes," Adeline said and cleared her throat. I noticed earlier that she is very strict in the way she feeds her child.

" No one likes healthy I'll except you of course. Well I'll be giving her whatever I see fit and you'll do the same," He retorted.

" She is my child,"

" And my niece," He fires back.

Adeline stomped her feet like a child in frustration before conceding to defeat

" fine, just don't cry, ok?" Zaza wiped her tears quickly as nodded her head vigorously. She was smiling and looking at her uncle. He lets her get whatever she wants.

" Annet, can you come in, please," A young woman walked in, she looked to be between 18- 20, not more than that. She is wearing a short black skirt and an office blue top, and high stiletto heels. Her hair is in a tight ponytail, okay, she looked hot.

She is looking at Dominic expectantly with a smile.

" Annet, please take this beauty here for a snack, she will tell you what she likes,"

" Yes sir, anything else," This girl was smiling too much.

' Jealous much?' My wolf asked.

' No,' I denied. Something strange and unfamiliar coursed through me, my face felt like it was on fire and my eyes were stuck on the woman.

' Well, stop glaring at her then,' I didn't even realize it. I tore my gaze from the woman and looked at Zaza.

She cupped Dominic's face and kissed him sweetly on the cheek.

" Tha... Thank you, Uncle,"

We watched as the secretary smiled at little Zaza and stretched out her hand to her

" Let's go, pretty princess," she hollered. Zaza waved at us before exiting the office.

I noticed Dominic was looking as they happily walked and I involuntarily let out a growl

" Isn't that girl too young to be a secretary?" As soon as the words left my mouth, I bite my tongue so hard. Why did I say that? They both looked up at me, shock was written on their face. I wanted the earth to open up and swallow me, now

" I meant she seems hard-working," I cleared but it made no sense.

" And young too," Luckily Adeline added and got the alpha's attention away from me.

" She's 18 I think, she's an intern, we get many of that." He said casually walking back to his seat

" When is she finishing here?" My question seemed to surprise him.

" I don't know, she seems eager to learn so she might stay a while longer," My wolf and I were unhappy to hear that

Alpha Russel faced his sister who was now sitting on the black leather couch, she is pressing on her phone.

" What are you doing here?" He asks,

" I escorted Ashley, she wanted to talk to you."

alpha Dominic motioned me to take a seat.

" What is it," his voice was a monotone and I raised an eyebrow. How quickly does his mood change? The air was thick as he intensely looked at me. Waiting for what am about to see.
