21: Office Make out

Sitting in front of him like that was so intimidating. My heart kept beating and my hands were sweating. I glanced back at Adeline several times, but why, I didn't know. The room was awfully silent as both the siblings looked at me.

I wiped my sweaty hands against my fabric. I scolded myself as to why am always this dumb in his presence. I was the most cunning and intelligent girl, that's why I was chosen for this mission. Trenton knew and I was disappointing him.

" Are you going to face the group the whole time?" Alpha Russel's voice broke my thoughts. It was cold just like his eyes now, different from when his little niece was here. I inhale and began my plea.

" Alpha, I was hoping to start work but Charles said he had to get approval from you since I'm a lone wolf," my voice was timid. Good back in play.

He kept silent and I was almost tempted to look up at him and maybe because my neck hurt.

" Work," he said quietly. " Why do you want to work?"

I had to see his face, so I dared to gaze at him. He seemed truly puzzled.

" Well, I need money,"

" I have money," he retorted. I almost grew frustrated. He doesn't want me to work

" Good to know," I replied, he let out a low growl and like the weak little wolf I was pretending to be, I fake flinched.

" Dom," his sister called in a warning tone.

" Are you dumb?" Was he talking to me or his sister?

" Me?" I asked in my quiet voice, this time he slammed his hand on the table and I didn't fake flinching.

" Argh, you're frustrating!" He yelled,

" Dominic!" While I got on my feet, Adeline was by my side in a minute.

" she doesn't get anything," he whispered the last part.

Dominic Russel took deep breaths and looked at us, no me. I saw his eyes softening while I easily allowed images of my family to invade my mind and I was in the blink of tears.

He seemed calm now, and all the anger dissipated.

" I meant, you don't need to work, I can easily afford anything you want," he said.

Adeline helped me back in my seat. I came here to get my work permit from him and I was completing this task no matter what.

" please alpha, you have been generous enough as it is. I need my own money," I pleaded my case, Dominic Russel looked at me with a bored expression on his handsome face. I continued.

" I feel useless and bored at home," I looked down on my lap. And when I looked up, he was void of emotions.

" Well, you can cook around the house if you want," I was clearly getting nowhere with him. I thought to myself, all I wanted to do was snap and slap his face but I knew better. I had better sense than that.

" No, staying in the house is suffocating, I need to keep busy and I was offered a job," I explained. He narrowed his gaze and raised an eyebrow

" By?|" he questioned looking into my eyes, I shuddered why did he look at that?

" Charles," I simply said, the alpha scoffed,

" The same man who got you drunk the first day you left home?" I wanted to protest but couldn't, the first time I met Charles, we drank so much

" It won't again. Why won't you let me work!" I exclaimed, getting frustrated. I took calming breaths and he got out of his seat, he sat in front of me, and slowly his fingers caressed my cheek. we were so close and my heart had started pounding. The way he looked at me showed that he had feelings for me, or maybe I was reading him wrong, however, I needed to know the truth.

His forehead was almost resting on mine and we breathed the same air. I got to my feet and kissed him, Dominic didn't answer my kiss, I don't know if he was in shock by my boldness or he just didn't feel anything for me. While I squeeze my legs tighter together he didn't move

" Kiss me back," I whispered against his lips, he carried in his arms immediately and my legs wrapped around his hard torso. I pulled away from his lips and stared at him deeply. His eyes were dark.

he crashed his lips on mine and we shared a long deep kiss, my body was hot already and as his hands move around my back, he made it hotter.

Everything was getting intense fast and my fingers went in his hair. he began sucking and nibbling my neck. I moan and breathed his name. It was too hot in the room even though the air condition was on full.

My fingers reached to touch his neck and I throw my head back to grand hm easy access on my neck. It felt so good when he did that

I felt his warm fingers in my blouse, they were hesitant to touch but I guided him to, he groaned in my mouth. " You are driving me crazy," I smiled genuinely. I needed to do that, not only will it make my work easier but also it felt good that I was driving a man like him crazy with desire.

We were in the middle of the hot make-out session when the door burst open, I thought he will put me down but he didn't. We turned to the door and Andrew was there, he didn't look happy at all. He glared at me with all the hatred he could muster, his face contorted as he closed the door behind him.

" I see why you want the lone wolf around. you're f*****g," He slumped into a sofa.

" Andrew! Can't you knock?!" The alpha growled and I jumped in his arms. He breathed and softly apologized for startling me. He set me down on his ornate table, I was honestly a bit embarrassed by this.

" What do you want?" He asked his friend in a monotone. Gamma Andrew looked over at me and I got off the desk to leave.

" Stay," Dominic ordered. I froze in my tracks. I momentarily closed my eyes and said

" Adeline and Zaza are waiting,"

" Ten executives are waiting for you in the conference hall, Alpha," Andrew said, putting emphasis on the word alpha. Dominic sighed and I began to walk away

" You can start work, but if you ever come home drunk again, I'll make sure you won't go back there again," I was happy, I turned to face him with a smile, to my surprise, his lips stretched into a smile.

" Thank you," I bow and to Andrew, I flipped my hair and bow with a smile.

" Good day, Gamma," he only snarled and rolled his eyes,

" getting confident now," I heard him snicker and Dominic let out a chuckle as I closed the door behind. I screamed in excitement

" Yes!" I hold my mouth shut and left to look for Adeline and Zaza, Dominic mentioned a lounge somewhere.
