15: The Store

Dominic's eyes were fixed on me, his lips silently ajar as if trying to say something,

" Ash.. ley," he stuttered my name, he cleared his throat lightly as if it was dry,

" You look different," he whispered, different? Seriously?

" Good or bad?" I squinted my eyebrows as I anticipated his response.

" Good. You always look good but today..." He continued to ramble and I chuckled.

" Thank you," I was blushing like crazy. The way the alpha looked at me made my body heat up in a funny way. A good way to be specific.

I was nervous, and I nibble my lower lip.

Dominic raised his thumb, stopping me.

" I told you not to do that,"

" And you didn't tell me why," I retorted, Dominic paused, he still had an amused look on his face.

Someone cleared their throat and we turned our attention there.

" Ummm I'm here too," We were so engrossed in our world that we didn't notice that she was still there.

" My brother is right, you look beautiful," I narrowed my gaze between the two of them,

" Brother?" I asked.

" Adeline," Dominic sighed, the lady smiled gently as she wrapped her arms around him.

" I missed you, little brother,"

I was confused, nothing in the file said he had any siblings, how did Trenton miss that?

" How was your stay in Zambia?" his sister answered with enthusiasm to her tone.

" Perfect, I'm here with Zee," I watched their exchange, Adeline had similar features to Dominic, they had the same eyes and nose shape.

The two turned to me and Adeline extended her hand.

" I'm Adeline Russel," I took her hand, and nodded, I opened my mouth to speak but she beat me to it,

" And I already know who you are, everyone does!" Her eyes looked up to her brother.

" Why?" She sounded genuinely curious. Dominic didn't look pleased.

" Can we talk about it later?" He all but growled and I almost flinched but his sister smiled.

" No need to get defensive now," she raised her hands as a symbol of peace. Adeline turned to me with a scowl,

" Don't mind him, he's grumpy all the time these past few years, maybe we can change that," Adeline started walking to the exit before I could respond.

" Let's go!" She called.

" But the clothes," I said quietly and I heard a gruff voice answer,

" They'll be delivered,"

We left the store to follow Adeline, she was very familiar with the mall, we entered another one and continued with our shopping, it was her who picked all my clothes and she had exquisite taste, we shopped then went to the last store.

We looked at the store and the alpha seemed uncomfortable.

" Victoria secret," Adeline breathed happily, and Dominic Russel froze.

" I'm not going in there," he grounded.

Adeline shook her and pointed at the shop next to us,

" There, go in." She paused and smirked " you might just find a new toy,"

I looked at the store they were looking at, it was eerily and dark red, why would Dominic want something from there, the alpha nodded and proceeded to the store, I whimpered as I watched him enter, Adeline grabbed my hand and we went into a store full of sexy lingerie.

However, my heart was still with Dominic, what did he want from there, I cleared my throat and asked Adeline.

" What did you mean his toys?" She narrowed her gaze on me and shrugged her shoulders.

" Just that," Adeline continued to inspect the two-piece pant she is selecting.

" Is this okay?" It was red and very sexy, so I nodded, she smiled.

" Good, have fun in that," she threw it to me.

" I can't wear that," it was so revealing and too sexy, it reminded me of the nightclub.

" Of course, you can," she winked. We are still shopping and I turn to the glass window, to see if Dominic was back but not yet.

" I'll use the restroom," I lied and went into the back, Adeline was busy to notice me leave the room.

I hesitated as I took steps towards the store Dominic disappeared in, the door automatically opened and I came face to face with a woman, I furrowed my eyebrows, she was wearing a dark tight leather, high boots, and her hair was in a high ponytail, she was playing with a wipe in her hand.

She smiled at me,

" Welcome?" she motioned me into the darkroom and my legs moved slowly to her while checking out the place.

" Hi," I greeted meekly.

" So, Dom or submissive?" She inquired with a curious look, she held her chin as she assessed me.

I was confused as to what she was talking about, so I kept quiet and the woman said.

" What do you fancy, we have all sorts of toys from Orion cuffs to the wipes,"

I gasped, omg, it was a b**m room full of s*x toys! Everywhere I turned was an odd toy.

Why would Dominic be in here? Does he like such? I let a sly smile play on my lips as I thought of him in a dominating position in that way.

' What if he's the submissive?' my wolf snarled and I knitted my eyebrows,

' Have you seen him, he's definitely a master,' I retorted.

The saleswoman raised her finger and trailed it from temple to neck,

" What interests you, Miss," I shivered and sucked in a breath.

" I'll- look around, thank you," I said and turned on my heel, they all looked kinky and scary but I was inquisitive to learn about them and they were pricey too.

I trailed a finger on a long black stick that had feathers at one end, they were soft and I kept playing with them, so lost in my thoughts about Dominic when a deep voice broke my thoughts,

" I didn't know you fancy,"

I clutched my eyes shut, no, no please don't let it be who I think it is.
