Today was really an important day as I had to impress the new clients.Thank God everything went well except the p*****t in that group. I have noticed his way of assessing my body and trying to near me.When I was about to give him my piece of mind, surprisingly Ian interfered. He was trying to help me escape from that perverted person. But what he don't know is,I have seen enough these kind of people in business. And I very well know where to strike,not physically but threatening using their goodwill. s****l harassment is not a small thing and I keep my phone on record mode whenever I have to confront people like them.Once they know,I was prepared for defense they will back off.

With these kind of people, getting scared will lead to their trap.We have to stay strong on our grounds. Anyways,I don't have anything to loose except my job. And I am staying here as I have a special attachment with this firm and the people who trust me with my work.

I have noticed Ian checking me out. I was feeling out of air,when I realised his eyes were assessing me. It doesn't make me feel uncomfortable, but it made me almost blush...Yes...damn it...I don't know what is going on with me.I have stayed away from male species these last few years, and may be with these closeness with a hottie making my hormones upside down...I don't want him to see that it effects me,that is why I continuously gave plenty of works..Even though he was new,he is really capable.

But what surprised me even more was he tried ti save me from another man while he was doing the same with me few minutes ago... That is why I told him not tl act as a hero,because I don't need one...And I was satisfied with his open mouthed reaction... After entering inside the room,when the p*****t attempted to get me close, I gave my warning to him with a smile. And he very well get that and backed off.

At the lunch break time,I was going to the washroom,but I stopped in my tracks as I heard they mentioning my name in discussion. There was Cody,Stefan,Gabby ,Caroline and Ian. Yes they were back bitching me to Ian. And surprisingly Ian sort of defended me. Gabby and me joined this firm almost the same time. But She was more focussed on gossiping while I was working my ass out. I got promoted and she was still on the line,from that time she started doing this back bitching thing towards me. And Caroline, I think she only wanted to get close to Ian as she is already bored the old guys in the department... Stefan and Cody both tried to be friendly with me...But I don't had any time for these things and I know why they need to befriend me.Either to get into my pants or to be ease at work by my favour... Both will not work for me.. I am used to this so I don't feel any special hard feelings about their comments... And the funny thing was Gabby mentioning me as lesbian...Really... Haa... nice try... anyway if Ian believed that I will be more comfortable with his gaze which often distracts me...As I noticed Ian was coming towards my direction , I went away from there..He.may have seen me.

When i came back to my cabin, he was already there. And his face looks some kind of guilty or he was about to console me for their words.Pfff...I don't care about these kind of parasitic people... And I was not ready to hear anything from Ian,that is why I again loaded him with work.

As part of christmas celebration in office and we played to find christmas friend. I did not wanted to participate,but the management strictly said that everyone should participate.We have to gifts for the christmas friend on that christmas eve, as to make ensure that there will be more personal relationship within the employees.

I took my chance and I got CFO Mathews..Then I got tensed about choosing the right gift for him. He is into reading so I thought to gift him my favourite author Paulo Coelho's books..along with a greeting card. Yes it's not about the price,I care for more about the thoughtful gifts...

Ian came back to cabin after getting his christmas friend card. He was smiling and looked at me.

"What...??" I asked

"Who is your Christmas friend..." he asked amusingly.

"I think we can't share it with anybody,that is the rule..and why should I tell you..." I glared at him.

"Hmm...Fine...then can you help me choose the perfect gift for my friend.."

"Why...don't you know that person's likes or..."

"Because that is a girl...and I suck at these kind of things..." he blurt out

"Ian...Mind your language..."

"Oops...okay. now tell me what should I buy her..."

I thought for a moment,then said

"my opinion is like it is not about the price,but the gift should be a thoughtful one. So you better try to understand this person's likes and favourite things...So that you can choose the right gift..."

"That is the problem...I don't know much about her..."

"Then buy something according to your choice, there is still time right...now come on...There is plenty of work left..."

And he groaned.

With that I started with my project. Day after tomorrow is christmas..I can buy the gift tomorrow as it is weekend. I noticed Ian often looking at me,when I look back he will just smirk. I just wanted to go and take away that smirk off his face.But I am scared to get close to him. He has something which is making me forget my rules ... So I can't get near him. I ignored his game and continued working.

With the distracted mind,he made many errors today and I punished him to complete the task before going home. I heard him curse under his breath and I smirked at him. I was also late,but his work was still pending. So I collected my things and I was about to exist the cabin,but somehow I slipped and I was ready to hit my back to the floor before that two strong hands embraced me...He was supporting my weight as if it was nothing and I could feel his strong body close to mine...

My heart was beating out loud and the only thing I heard was it . when I opened my eyes ,I saw the alluring blue eyes looking deeply into mine... It was as if the time went stuck there,I did not know about the rest of the world...I was lost in his eyes and musk scent... Then his phone rang and I came back to reality.I tried to stay on my foot but I couldn't and he helped me. I know i blushed hard...It was like I could not look into his eyes that I feared he might be able to read my vulnerability. I just muttered thanks and left.

It was like my full body was reacting to his touch..My body was heated due to his proximity...I felt like my hands were shivering. After getting into my car, I waited for few minutes to calm myself down. I cursed myself for how my body reacted, how vulnerable i was before him...i cursed for everything...

After getting back home, I took a hot tub bath and then only in felt myself getting relaxed. What is he doing with me...!!

I was still rewinding the scene happened today.. I could not help it... But soon the past came to my mind and I was scared again...

I can't allow him into my world... I will be just fine if I am alone... I must stay away from him and his charms...
