***Kayla's POV***
When my eyes didn't feel heavy anymore, I shifted in the bed, then woke up with a start.
I don't know what I was expecting, but Grace, a friend from school, said that when she woke up after her first time doing it with her boyfriend, she felt insatiable, like nothing in the world could quench her thirst for him.
But my fire was out.
Of course, the final test would be to look at my Lord to see if the fire has indeed died down, or if this is just some temporary reprieve.
When I heard footsteps in the palace hall, I braced myself for my body to get a mind of its own again.
But no.
Instead of my Lord, Nyx walked in.
She was somewhat wary, and that gave a jumpstart to my memory - I was still fully naked.
I fussed around with the covers and managed to cover myself,
