He wasn't fair.
He was just being cruel.
He sent me back to the village I loved visiting.
My grandmother's house.
It was all in ruins.
This village didn't prosper.
It is a ghost town now.
But I know.
He didn't stop me from learning that his relationship with his siblings is more of a love at arm's length kind.
I know who to summon and offer worship to.
The walking death.
Queen of the underworld.

Now I just need to find the cave.
Oddly enough, when she fled her home with the Norse people, back to her kingdom, she anchored her gate in Arizona of all places.
It doesn't help me a lot, but it's a good start.
