Warriors

The show's over. There's three hours to dinner. It was a barbecue, I understood.

We got up, I felt eyes poke in my back and I turned around. My eyes looked straight into the eyes of a beautiful black-haired woman with green eyes. She nodded and smiled at me and walked away.

"That's odd" I said to Brian and Amy "that woman was just staring at me and laughing at me like I know her."

Brian and Amy looked up, too.

" That is weird, I saw her walking on our floor this morning and when exercising," Says Amy.

Brian looks concerned and Amy changes the subject.

"So, Brian, dad was mad this morning!"

Brian looks at the ground and then at us.

'Yes I'm not proud of it either, but I saw her and I was sold.” He says.

"Yes until you've had her, just like usual!" Answers Amy, a little mad. Amy doesn’t like Brian acting that way.

Brian sighed.

"How was your breakfast meeting anyway?" I asked Brian to change the subject.

"How do you know we had one!?" Brian's very surprised.

"Dad was up early and so was I, so he said there was a meeting and you and Emlin had to come too. With the King and the Prince," I explained.

"Oh, uh, yes. It was about our pack size and our warriors." He scratch the back of his head.

"Our warriors are not half as good as this ones," Amy said and point to the now empty field.

"That's right and that's what it was about. We're going to have 10 warriors to practice with. Emlin and I have indicated that it is important to grow and be stable and that our fathers will no longer do so." Brian looked around confidently. “So 10 warriors are coming with us to Treemoon, so we can learn from them.” He says. Our eyes lock, there is something in his eyes that I can’t figure out.

"But ladies, I'm going to find Emlin and Rex. We're going to train. See you tonight." And Brian ran away.

Amy and I decided to go for a walk around the park. In front of the hotel was a large park, with a fountain in the middle. It was really beautiful out there. We sat on a bench together.

"Do you think Prince Justin is your mate Flora?" she asks me.

I almost fell off the bench.

"No! No way. That’s not possible at all. I'm a Beta's daughter. The chances of me finding my fated mate are smaller than yours and you haven't found him yet. And besides, he is a prince, why would he want me?"

“Because you’re hot, sexy, smart.. I can go on..” She starts. “But I'm also not going to wait for my fated mate. I'm going to choose one myself, Flora." Amy looked at me determinedly.

"Why?" I asked her.

"Not everyone is like Emma. I would do it very differently. And so would you. Especially now!"

Amy was right. Emma made me look more negative, but not all men are like Alex and I'm not like Emma. I look like her in appearance, but inside I'm very different.

"I hope I like someone soon, Flora" Amy sighs.

"What are you looking for? I'll look with you!"

"Something with muscles. I don't need a high-ranking person. I have no obligations. I have two brothers who have to do that!" She laughs.

"Okay! What are we still doing here!? Let's take a look around!" I say.

We got up and walked to the buildings. The hotel was quite in front. Behind it was a packhouse, but there were also some kind of holiday homes. Made of wood. Beautiful dark red-brown wood. Every home has flowers hanging on the balcony. It’s really beautiful out here.

There was a gym in the hotel, we had already been there. We saw another building with a sports logo. The windows are blinded. So we couldn't look inside. We walked through the door and the smell of sweat came to us. All around us were men. They looked at us in amusement.

"Sorry sir" Amy spoke to someone, he also has black hair, just like Justin, he looks a bit like him actually. I diddn’t see his face yet, but his build, his hair...

"We are here to watch. Where is the best place to go!?" she asks.

The man turned around. He looked handsome, he looked like the prince, but was a little less wide.

"Sir?" Spoke to the man. "Do I look that old!? I'm James." He looked at us with a gentle smile.

His smile turned into a serious look and he showed us the way to a big hall. He explained along the way that this was the warriors' building. They had their own gym, private doctor and infirmaries and studios and a kitchen. They all live here, so they can work out regularly and relax in their own rooms.

"They really take fighting here really seriously, don't they, Amy!?"

"Yes, Brian needs to see this!" She says.

"It looks like Brian doesn't have to see it anymore" I said, pointing my head at a group of men.

There was Brian, with Emlin and Rex, along with some other warriors. They were looking at something on the ground. We couldn't see what it was. Amy grunts and I know she hates it when we are somewhere and her brother is also there. He always watches after us, which means no men come to us to talk.

James was still with us. "They're watching wrestling. Justin's showing them something," he said.

The group looked back and saw us standing. Rex walked up to us. "Hey ladies! This looks good, doesn't it? That space here, how it's arranged. Brian and Emlin want to do this at home," He says. He is really enthusiastic. He leans more towards Amy and is looking at her.

"Yes, really beautiful, come Flora we go!" Amy sounded annoyed. I walked back with her. "Gee, there's a brother everywhere. Can we just watch men without brothers!?" Amy was annoyed and I laugh at her.

"Come, let's relax with a massage and do a beauty hour!?" I told her to cheer her up.

"yes! You know exactly what I need when I be like this!"

Together we walked back to the hotel and booked treatments and talked about what we were going to do in the coming months. We had to take some more exams and then we both had our diploma. After an hour and a half, we went back upstairs to change for the barbecue.

Amy was wearing tight black jeans and I had tight blue jeans. I went for a white blouse with pink flowers. Amy had the same blouse but with green flowers. We took some more pictures together and went downstairs. The rest of them were already there. At our table was Anne, my brother Emlin's mate. It was so cute to see. My tough brother was so in love. He has his arm around her and hands her everything. My father had already made several comments about it.

The barbecue was opened by Prince Justin. He spoke to us all again and wished us all a happy and safe return journey tomorrow. Goddess, that man is sexy. I caught his gaze and felt my cheeks burn. I blushed again. What’s the matter with me? Just like yesterday, the food is overflowing and there is a lot to choose from. I go for my usual grilled chicken and Amy goes for a steak. Rex is next to her and I watch them interact. They could match.

After dinner, Amy and I decided to watch a movie in her suite and after half an hour Brian, Emlin and Rex also came to watch. Emlin had Anne with him, too. It all fitted perfectly on the couch. Brian sat next to me and I leaned against him. Just as we do at home. He puts his arm around me and pulls me towards him.

I opened my eyes and felt tired. I smelled a familiar smell, but couldn't place the smell. I opened my eyes further and it was Rex. "Rex, what are you doing?" I ask him surprised.

"Shh, you fell asleep. Everyone's gone to bed. I'll take you to your bed. Sleep." He says.

I closed my eyes again, safe in his arms. Normally, I hate this. I can walk myself, but tomorrow we go home and Rex is back to training a lot. So let's enjoy it before he's gone all the time.

The next morning was hectic. Everyone was packing, all suitcases have to be brought and we took an extra passenger: Anne! We decided to make a men's and a woman's car so we could get to know each other better and that the men could discuss business things. The men drove in the car for us. At the gate was Prince Justin. He stopped the car with the men in it. They were discussing things. We were able to drive, but the prince also stopped our car.

Luna Lillian opened the window. "Goodbye Prince Justin, thank you for this fantastic party and thank you for helping us get stronger!" she says nicely.

"You're welcome Luna Lillian. Nice of you to have a car full of women!

Anne, have fun in your new place. I'm sure this company will be fine. I hear Emlin's sister is very sweet. So you'll soon feel at home," he says.

I felt myself blushing again. I didn't dare look at him.

"Thank you Prince Justin. See you soon!" she says.

"See you soon!" Justin replied.

"Bye prince", I heard Luna say Lillian and the Prince tapped on the roof of the car. Here we went again. Through the gate.

I looked behind us. There was a van with what looks like warriors. Prince Justin greeted them, but didn't stop them. He ran away again.

"See you soon prince!?" Amy looked at her mother and Anne in amazement. "Can anyone explain!?"

"Brian trained with Prince Justin yesterday, along with Emlin and Prince James. Prince James is the brother of Prince Justin. They asked for help and Prince Justin loved doing it so much that he came to help us." Luna Lillian explained. James was his brother. I thought he looked a lot like Prince Justin.

“In two weeks he'll be coming our way to see how our progress is and we've got 10 warriors to start training. He'll stay for a week.” Luna Lillian continued.

"So nice of him, huh?" My mother asked.

"Well indeed!" Amy said, "Where's he going to stay? We don't have a luxury hotel?"

"Well, with us in the house and in the packhouse, and if Emlin and Anne have a place then he also goes to Vicky's house. He'll have options. After all, he's a prince and we were not putting him in the packhouse every time!" Luna Lillian said with a laugh.

"Every time!?" I asked.

"Yes, he comes once every month for a week for the next 4 months." Luna Lilian seemed uncomfortable. That is a lot of Prince Justin for the next four months.

"He must be very happy with that training!" Amy said and frowned.

"Yes, apparently he likes that way too much to do with our pack" responded Luna Lillian.

We decided to spend the rest of the time hearing Anne out about her life and how she felt inside of Emlin. Turns out, she is smitten and she can’t wait to have her own family with him. My mother is tearing up and I see the happiness in her eyes. As I hear Anne talk about my brother I am a little bit jealous, what she feels sounds like the most wonderful feeling to have. I can’t believe Amy wants to choose someone over that feeling. Then again, the chances of finding your fated one are small.
