They finished lunch and drove back to John and Peggy’s. Toby was delighted in how comfortable he felt around Wayne’s parents. John parked in front of the house and they all went inside.
“I’ve got to run back to work, but it sure was nice getting to meet you and chat with you, Toby,” John said, extending his hand for a handshake.
