It was rare to see Eddie being so friendly to someone, and Emily looked touched. Edward couldn't help but put down his utensils heavily.
"I'm full!" he exclaimed, getting up from the table and leaving.
Eddie quickly called out to Edward, "Wait! Weren't you supposed to go to work with Emily?!"
But Edward turned a deaf ear and even quickened his pace, leaving the dining room.
"Ah, this child!" Eddie couldn't help but sigh. His son's attitude was far from gentlemanly.
"Emily, how about having the driver take you to work from now on? It must be tiring for you to commute every day," Eddie awkwardly touched his nose, making a new suggestion.
