Chapter Seven Aaron had to get up and moving a little earlier than normal, and this after a fun but tiring night out at the wedding, but he wasn’t the least bit sorry he’d agreed to take Janelle and her grandmother to Denver. He hadn’t expected to stay long at the wedding reception, but he’d been enjoying himself, and genuinely having a good time meeting some of the locals. Sure, they’d been a little bit nosey, but it had all been in good spirit. Of course, that didn’t mean there weren’t vicious gossips that he hadn’t run into yet. Or even that the nice people he’d spoken to wouldn’t turn on a dime the minute they felt threatened by someone or something that was outside their normal. He’d been there, seen that. Experienced it.
