She was waiting to be loved passionately but refused to accept it. He loved her dearly but failed to admit it. Their eyes said said it all, tongue was still hesitating.

Happy reading!!!!!
The pounding in my head was crossing it's extreme levels. I tried to open my eyes but no avail, it was getting harder than I thought. I could hear people muttering but their words made no sense to me.
"I think she is trying to get up." I heard a familiar voice.
"Get the doctor, fast." King Black.
I tried to open my eyes but the light was too bright, I squinted my eyes towards the source.
As I looked around, I noticed I was in my room. My eyes met the familiar brown eyes, he had dark bags under his eyes and his usual skin looked more pale.
"You're awake." King Black said stroking my hairs. I tried to say something but my throat was too sore to utter anything. As if reading my thoughts he gave me a cup of water and I gulped it down quickly.
"King. Queen." An unfamiliar voice greeted us. He was in his early fifties, his grey hairs were prominent but he still looked fit. King nodded curtly at him but his gaze was on me.
"I am pack doctor, Eli. I hope you are feeling better now Queen." He said with his friendly smile. I nodded back at him. He checked my pulse and my ankle which was nearly healed. He turned towards my mate and nodded at him and left the room.
"How long I was unconscious for?" I asked King Black who was looking intently at me. My voice was hoarse.
I tried to sit but my shoulder was still wounded and I hissed in pain. He held me gently and put some pillows behind my back to support me.
"Easy there." He said in a stern yet gentle voice. I knew he was avoiding the question I asked him.
"How long I was unconscious for?" I pressed further and I saw him clenching his jaw and I raised a brow at him. He sighed as sat beside me on the bed.
"Two weeks." He said coldly and I gasped. Two freaking weeks.
"Will you ever in your life listen to me?" He asked glaring at me and I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion.
"I told you, not to leave the house. It's not safe for you but no you have to defy everything I say." His voice was hard but his eyes reflected a different emotion.
"I didn't knew they will try to kill me, I mean I am merely a human and why would they try to kill me." I argued with my still weak voice. He looked at me as if I had grown two heads.
"Why would they try to kill you? Crystal, you are my mate, Luna of this pack and Queen of werewolves. As much a pack needs it's Luna, she is always the target of the pack. If they want to destroy me or my pack or my throne they'll kill you because a pack can go to any extent to make sure their Luna, their Queen is alright." He didn't raise his voice but his tone dared me to oppose him. But me being Crystal, I couldn't keep my mouth shut.
"But I am not a Luna or Queen." I muttered quietly but of course he heard me, damn his werewolf powers.
"Yet. You are not a Queen yet." He said glaring at me. Before I could have said something, Alice came inside the room and bowed her head in respect.
"Take care of her, Alice." He said with a hard voice and left the room.
"Where are you going?" I asked him and he turned to look at me. He looked at for a minute or two and then turned to Alice.
"And make sure, she doesn't skip a meal this time. I mean it." His voice sent chills down my spine. I saw Alice taking a sharp breath at his tone but none the less, she nodded. And without answering my question he left the room and I sighed.
"Queen, how are you feeling now?" Alice asked me, placing the bowl of soup beside me.
"Besides little pain in my shoulder, I am perfectly alright." I said giving her a smile. She smiled back while spoon feeding me the soup since I couldn't move my hand cause of my shoulder.
"Oh and Alice, it's Crystal." She gave me a sheepish smile.
I watched a couple of movies but I was never a movie person, I am more of reading a book rather than watching some movies but I had no book in my room and getting up from my bed to get a book was too much. So I settled with movies kept beside me.
"You know Queen, you shouldn't have left the house." Alice said while biting her lips, she was nervous about me getting offended with her words.
I sighed as she referred me as her Queen again.
"I am being held captive here and freedom is worth any risk." My voice became sharp with every word.
"Rouges are looking for you Queen. You shouldn't be out now, they just found out that King has a mate and they'll do anything to hurt you." She spoke further as she fed me the soup.
Everything makes sense now. But how did they knew I was his mate.
"When King came with you in his arms, all bloodied we all were really scared. King didn't left your side even a minute for these two weeks. I have never seen him so vulnerable, Queen. He cares for you very deeply." My heart was beating at an unusual rate.
"It's only because of his wolf." I muttered and she laughed at me.
"Our wolf is an important part of us, Queen. And yes, it's his wolf who cares deeply for his mate but King cares for you more than you think Queen."
"So you're a werewolf too." I mentally face palmed for stating the obvious and she laughed as she collected the bowl and left the room.
He cares for you.
I took a deep breath. My life is getting a lot complicated than I thought, I am going to be their Luna, Queen of werewolves.
I would be lying if I say I don't get affected by his presence. His touch spreads tingles all around my body.
But one thing I despise the most is relationship, I don't want to be committed, I don't want to fell in love. I vowed to never fall in love when I saw my mother's lifeless body and I don't plan on breaking it.
