Chapter 2

Kathrine pov

i was listening to what was going on, i knew we were going to get into a fight, and i turned squatting to look at our daughter, i held her hands,

“Levonna, listen to me honey, i need you to go, i need you to run as fast as you can, Never matter what you hear, don’t look back just keep running baby okay,”

“But mommy, I don't want to go, I want to help.”

“Baby, just go okay, run as fast as you can, and don’t look back. Now go baby, and remember mommy and daddy loves you so much, Now go run and don’t look back honey,’ I watched her run as fast as her small legs would let her I turned back around just in time to see see them all shift, i guess this is it my love, we fight and die together, I shifted into my large brown wolf jumping on one of the guys, i hope my sweet daughter is hiding someplace where they can not find her,

Nine year old Levonna pov

I saw that the two mean guys were talking to daddy, they were being really mean to him. Mommy told me to run, but i didn’t want to. i wanted to stay and help, I could have kicked their knees or something, but mommy told me to run and not look back no matter what i heard,

“Okay mommy, I love you too. When daddy started turning into a wolf, i started running as fast as i could, When i saw woods i ran into them until i fell over a root., i started hearing screams and growls, i covered my ears crying, i wanted all of this to stop, i wanted mommy and daddy to come get me so we can be on our way, i could ride on their back while they ran, i was sure it would be so much fun doing that,

“Don’t worry, sweetheart, i am here now,” I opened my eyes, looking around, who was that, and where are they at, i heard a giggle, and then i heard it again,

“Its okay little one, i will take care of you, but first we need to get rid of these bad guys, this is going to hurt because you are so young, but i promise you honey, i will try and take that pain away from you,” I was glad i was on the ground because my arms and legs felt like they were breaking, i cried out when my arm did this weird thing, then i felt no more pain, i wondered when this thing was going to end,

“Open your eyes little one,” i did what she had asked me, i opened my eyes and saw black fur on my paws, {Paws,} this was so cool, i'm a wolf now, mommy told me when i got older this would happen, this is really cool,

‘Alright let's go get those bad guys, She pushed me back and took control, When we got there, it was too late. My parents were gone, blood was all around them,

‘Look here Tony, the young one shifted into her wolf early, the boss could have some fun with her, she could be his pet,” We growled at them The she jumped one ripping out one guys throat, she tore the others face off, both died fast, I didn’t know how to turn back to myself,

‘Levonna, im sorry, i'm just to tired, give me a few minutes and let me rest than we can turn back to you okay,'' we walked over to my parents, i nudged them with my snout, but they wouldn’t move, i did it again and still did not move, we laid down beside them. i didn’t know how long we were laying when i heard a car door open and then close, My wolf looked up growling she wasn't going to let anyone hurt us, When the guy appeared he looked a little older than my daddy and those mean guys, he looked really tried and a look of worry was on his face, He came near us, she growled at him, He held his hands up,

“I’m here to help, i'm not here to hurt you. Are you able to shift back little one?” I knew it would look funny, but i shook my wolf head no,” he nodded,

“I will sit with you until you can okay,”

‘Mateo pov

i was driving home after a big week of business, the mafia bosses was setting up for the big mafia war, i was one of the big bosses, so i had to be at the meeting, i knew something had happen right when i was driving up that looked like a wreck serval cars were parked and looked like a huge crash. I parked my car and stepped out, i was going to see if there was anyone alive, but what I saw shocked me. There was a small black wolf lying beside two dead bodies. I knew she was a small wolf, i just did not know how young she was, When she growled i held my hands up letting her know i was not there to hurt her, I sat there with her until she shifted back to her human side, When her wolf rested enough, she shifted back, i was stunned, this little wolf was just a little girl, maybe the age of five or six, I hurried to the car getting a shirt out of my bag, hurrying back i helped her put it on,

“I’m sorry its so big, it's the only thing i have for you,” I picked her up putting her in the car, I knew we needed to get the hell out of here before anyone else shows up and tries to hurt this little girl, Who knows who is after her, this poor child is now orphaned with no family as far as i know, if anyone comes looking for her, they better have proof that they are family or they will not get her. I will not let anyone else hurt this little girl,

Nine year old Levonna pov

I was laying there when my wolf told me that she was rested, she let me go back to myself, the guy that was sitting next to me watched on, i couldn't help but notice he was wearing a black suit, His hair was a little short and he had blue eyes., but his scent was different, it was not like mine, I could smell it when he picked me up sitting me in the car,

“I'm sorry, little one, my name is Mateo. What is your name, and how old are you, sweetheart?”

My name is Levonna, and I am only five years old. Why do you smell different that i do? Your scent is different than mine?

“Little Levonna, I am a werecat sweetheart, I am over five hundred years old. i'm taking you to my mansion where my son and his family live, i’ll talk to him about having you stay with them, or you could live with me and my wife, you can call me grandpa if you like,” this was so very weird,. a werecat for a grandpa, is that even aloud? We drove through very large gates, i saw men standing by the gates with some weird looking guns. I once saw them in my own pack, but Daddy told me I could never touch them. they were way too dangerous for me, I told him i would never touch them. Do I still keep my promise? If he was gone now, l think I will. We stopped at a very large house parked than got out, We walked up some very large steps, then went into the house, that's when i saw three boys playing with cars they were making car noises, saying vroom and some other weird noises, I saw a woman at a table, she was putting food on it, she had her dark hair in a ponytail, when she turned around to look at me, i saw that she had green eyes, she didn't look nice at all. she made a face like she wasn’t happy to see me,

“Great, another mouth to feed,”

“You watch your mouth. She's only five years old. Her parents got killed tonight, Kelly, so watch your tone.” i could tell that Grandpa did not like her at all, i wondered who she was, a door opened, and then out came walking another guy. He had short blood hair. he was very tall, with weird markings on his arms, he even had yellow eyes wow were cats have strange eyes,

“Dad, who is this little girl? she's not a werecat she's a werewolf. Why is she here?”

“Honey, your father decided to bring this orphan here so she could eat our food, he says her parents got killed tonight, he's always bringing home strays,” He turned around to look at her, he didn’t seem to like her much,

“Watch what you say about my father Kelly, just because you are my mate and bared my children, doesn't mean I will not reject you, you take my money and spend it faster than I make it, so if you still want that,. keep your mouth shut.” He squatted down to take a closer look at me.

“Is it true sweetheart, did you lose your family tonight?” Tears started coming down my face as i nodded yes,”

“Yes sir, i did, but grandpa came and stayed with me until i could shift back, my wolf was to tired after she killed the two mean guys, please don't make me leave here, i have no place to go, i don't know where else i could go,” he looked over at his father than back over to me, he pulled me over to him so he could hug me, he to did not smell like a wolf, i think he was like grandpa,

“well little one, welcome to our family we are called the blue cat pack, i am the alpha, and that woman over there is the luna, for right now anyways, you can stay with my dad, but come here let me introduce you to my sons, Bama samuel and Marco come here and meet Levonna,” they got up walked over so i could meet them,

“Daddy can we eat now, we are hungry,”

“Of course you can son, you three go sit at the table and eat dinner, Levonna you can eat with them then you can go with my dad okay,” the girl name kelly mumbled underneath her breath then she placed a plate of food in front of Levonna, she found out that the alphas name was Kenny, and he wasn’t very happy with that lady at all, she spent his money faster then he made it, she did nothing but shop, the only reason why they had triplets because he paid her to have them, she didn't want to but he paid her to do it. After they ate, she went with grandpa to his house. It was in the back of the big house, and his was just as big. When we went inside, there were people running around trying to get things done before we walked inside, They all stopped when they saw Grandpa. then they slowly looked down at me,

“ Mr Mateo, we have everything you have asked for. The folders are in your office, ready for you to look through them. your mate is in her office. She should be here very soon. she's on a phone call, I prepared a room for the young one here,”

‘Thank you Bella, You may go do your rounds” The lady looked nice, she didn't look at me with a frown on her face, grandpa took me to my room, it had a few toys, and a teddy bear on the bed, I was starting to get sleepy, i really didn't want to sleep, i was missing my parents,

“You can sleep if you want a little one, this will be your room for now on, when i get done with the papers i have to look through i will come back to see if your sleep okay.” He squatted to hug me then kissed my forehead, just like my daddy use to do, I got into bed laying down on a soft pillow, i didn't want to start crying in front of him, i didn't want him start being mean to me, i hid my tears until she walked out of my room shutting the door behind him,

“Don’t worry little one, I'm here, I got a little more rest, they are good people, they won't hurt you, but I sure don’t like that woman in that house, she’s mean. but i can handle that. My name is Heather. and I will never leave you, sweetheart. You will never have to be scared of anything ever. try and get some sleep. i will sleep with you so we can both be strong,”
