chapter 20

Levonna pov

i was finally done with a pack members car, i had to make sure the oil was changed the power steering oil was filled, and make sure that the tires were good, i cleaned the car out as well, it wasn’t that dirty, but i thought i would clean it out for her, I knew Penny would be here soon to pick it up, all day I kept feeling like something bad was going to happen i had a gut feeling something was wrong, But i didn't know what it was, Tay was saying that we needed to get to the pack house something was wrong, but i needed to make sure that the car was done before i went home, I heard someone running toward me, when i looked up it was Bama, he looked worried and upset, i looked at the house and than at Bama, i knew it was something to do with grandfather, i dropped everything that was in my hands, he didn't have to say anything to me, I started running toward the house, Bama was running behind me, I rushed into the house, i didn't see Mateo anywhere, looking at Erick, i asked him

“Where is grandpa, is he okay Alpha,” i knew not to call him that, but Jessica insisted that i call him alpha and not by his first name, she said it is a sign of disrespect if i do that. i could tell she didn’t like me. She was only cool with me when Erick was around, i was starting to feel she was fake. I don't like her at all,

“Levonna, how many times that i told you, do not call me that, Call me Erick, or Uncle Erick okay,: I nodded, then asked him again,

:Where is Grandfather? Please tell me that he is okay,” My heart was pounding so fast that i felt like it was going to beat right out of my chest,

“Guys sit down, i have something to tell you, When we were at his appointment, the doctor put him in a ct scan, to scan his head to see how everything was going, everything was going good until the machine started beeping loudly, He turned the machine off, than rushed into the room, i ran in there with him, His heart gave out on him, He tried to save him, he tried for an hour to bring him back but he couldn’t, he's gone guys,the doctor is cleaning him up right now, than bringing him here so we can do what he wanted us to do.” I stood there listening to Erick, this can not be happening, the only man i knew that loved me like i was his very own grandchild was gone, why did he have to leave, i didn’t get to say goodbye, I stood there crying, Jessica looked at me with hatred in her eyes when Erick took me in his arms to comfort me, he knew how much his dad meant to me, i loved him like family, he was my father, my grandfather, what am i going to do now?”

“Listen, we will get to say our goodbyes, when he gets here with grandpa, we need to build a makeshift bed with wood, make sure he is comfortable, have the pack members help, i think we have just a few minutes, let's head outside, We headed outside, jessica walked beside me, she elbowed me out of the way, i have had enough of this, i walked up to her hitting her in the head then i growled at her, she backed away knowing she went to far, i knew my brothers saw this, they smirked at me, shaking their heads, We got the woods, making what Erick wanted us to do, the whole packed helped out, then we stood around it, while the doctor put him gently down onto the wood. one by one, we said our goodbyes, when it was my turn, i thanked him for saving my life, and he will always be in my heart, i kissed his forehead, than i stood beside the triplets, Erick took the torch setting the wood on fire, at least he didn't have to suffer anymore, he wanted this he wanted to be with his mate. Every pack member was there saying their goodbyes, My wolf wanted to say goodbye in her own way, I shifted into her, Her head lifted then she began to howl the saddest howl anyone could ever hear, she loved him to, that was her grandfather, her father as well, I knew other packs would hear her howling and would call Erick, He would have to explain, When she was done saying her goodbyes, I shifted back, One of the triplets hurried to hand me a shirt, i quickly put it on, we stood there watching the fire burn until he was burned to ash, a light breeze came picking the ashes up twirling them around then off they went to join his mate with the moon goddess,

Jesscia pov

I was so sick of this girl, everyone loved her like she was the luna and not me, i don't care what she’s been put through or been through i want her gone, and she will be gone, i meant what i said to them, if they do not run her away i will kill their father, There shouldn’t be a wolf and a werecat pack, anyone could come here and hurt the pack with her here, they could hurt us while they are looking for her, So far i had him stepping down when they shift, i knew they haven’t been training to be alpha because i have kept Erick busy, Therefore He was unable to train them to be alphas, i made sure of that, When they chase her away then i will have no threat around, Once she's gone then i will start setting up for my father to take over the pack, i know Erick isn’t in the mafia anymore, So this is going to be so much easier to do. I walked with Erick hand and handed back into the house, I saw Levonna walking upstairs, I wanted to check up on her, just to put up a show for Erick,

“Erick, give me a minute i want to check on Levonna,” But he wouldn’t let me, i think he saw through what i was trying to do, because he looked at me with a look on his face that told me to leave her alone,

“No, that's okay, i’ll go check up on her, and then we will go to our room,” Why don’t you head there and i will be there shortly,” I nodded thinking to myself damn, but i knew the boys would be in the game room. so I hurried away after i kissed his cheek saying okay, ill be waiting, I walked toward the gameroom, they were there shoot pool, i walked into the room looking at them with my arms crossed,

“Now that your grandfather is gone, it won’t be to long for your father to step down and make you alpha, you just remember what i told you, You do it or your father dies,” I didn’t give them time to reply, i walked out of the room to our room, i wanted to be in there waiting for him. i hurried to change into my night shorts and a see through top so he could see me, i knew he liked this shirt, I sat on the bed waiting for him, When he finally walked inside the room, he looked at me smiling,

“Honey, I hopei9= you don’t mind, but we're not doing anything tonight, my father just passway, s*x is the furthest from my mind.”

“I’m fine with that Erick, just remember once your sons shift, you will be stepping down, we need to move into your fathers house so we can give your sons lots of space,”

“I know jessica, we can do that in a few days, lets just let me mourn for a bit, my father just passed away so give it a break, i saw how you pushed Levonna out of the way to get infront of her, she paid you back didn’t she, do not pull that s**t again, My ex mate Kelly tried pulling that crap., shes gone now, so don’t push me, is that clear?”
