Samuel pov
I sat there listening to my father explaining that our grandfather will soon be gone, my heart was broken, but i knew i had to be strong for this, how else will he survive, he wanted no pity out of us, He wants to do everything on his own until he can’t anymore, We helped dad get all of grandpas stuff in the pack house, Levonna carried her own, even when we tried to help she said she could do it, so we let her, I felt some kind of connection with her, i didn’t like it at all, We will be shifting next week, that's when we will find our mates, so it was good that dad called off the meetings with the alphas daughters. I really didn’t want to meet them anyways, I guess dad will be bringing his second chance mate here tomorrow, she better not be a b***h like our mother was, she had put our life through h3ll, i won’t deal with it nor will my brothers,
Randy pov
After a few days of rest, i felt strong enough to shift into my dragon once again to take to the sky to look for my mate, I don’t even know what day it is right now, i'm not sure how long i had slept, but i am determined to find my mate, i took shower, then just put on shorts and a shirt that i didn’t care about since when i get outside I will be shifting again to go find my mate, Joy i know you are still alive, i can feel it, i was walking out of my room when I saw Adonis walking toward me,
“Man, I thought you were gone again. Do you realize it's been four days since you awakened, i should have looked in your room. Come into my office, we need to talk,” sighing, i really wanting to head outside to take flight, but this was the king, i wasn’t going to say no, that would be disrespectful, Walking into his office, i noticed that Liv was there and her son Drago, I wondered what was going on, was i in trouble? I stood there looking around at all three, wondering what was going on, because now i'm curious,
‘Randy, I know this might sound crazy to you, but i saw Joy,”
“What the hell do you mean you saw Joy, Is she here?” i was heading to the door to go to her room when the king stopped me,
“First off, watch your tone with the queen, calm down and sit down and she will tell you what had happen four days ago,” I didn’t want to calm down, i wanted to go see Joy, i wanted to pull her into my arms and hold her and not let her go, i wanted to look into her beautiful green silver eyes and see myself in them, But the look that the king gave me told me i needed to sit down, So i sat down, but i was itching to get out of there to see her,
‘Randy, please calm down, she's not here honey, but she had me see her, she could show me by paints and by writing, at first i felt dizzy, and then i saw writing, that said,
I am alive, then she had me see her inside a cage, those son of a bitches has her locked inside a cage, We don’t know where just yet, we are just waiting to see what's going on and waiting to see if she has me see anything else, it's been four days, but i have also written her a message, we just hope they don’t find out what she can do.”
Joy pov
it's been four whole days since Nikki came in here, she yelled at me for having paint in my cell, she yelled at William for giving me something to do, I was in there for a reason. I was in there so I could show her my powers, i looked at her like she was crazy, powers, what powers, i have a few powers but i wasn’t going to show her, she could use them against my family, i clutched the note in my hand that my mother sent me, she told me that they have been looking for me, even Randy had been looking for me, i knew they have, Nikki lied to me, how could i trust her, i knew i needed to get out of here, I needed to start a plan, i needed to figure out how to get the hell out of here and get home, i wanted to go home to my family, i don't even know where i was, but i know for damn sure, i'm going to get the hell out of here. I heard footsteps coming down to my cell, I could smell food, it must be William, I was so hungry right now, I would eat anything right now, I need to get my strength up. I haven't even heard from my dragon for a while now, i hope she is okay. I think she is gathering her strength up, she eats what I eat, and she sees what I think. she hears my thoughts, she knows i'm scared she knows i want out of here, and I will do anything to get out of here, I needed to start my plan, When William came downstairs, he had a bowl of rice in his hand with a worried look on his face, i haven't eaten in three days, I guess that was ordered by NIkki because i had the paints in my cage, He asked me to back away from the door, i didn’t want to do that, i wanted to grab the bowl out of his hand and eat it, i was so hungry,
“Joy, back away or you wont get to eat, i know you have to be starving since you have not ate, Now back up from the door,” i knew he was right, he wouldn't be able to put the bowl inside here if i didn’t back up from the door, He opened the door hurrying to put the food down on the cage floor, he did just that, hurrying to shut and lock it back, he stood there watching me eat like i was a wild animal, the rice was just plain rice nothing on it or with it, but i didn't care, i tossed the spoon down on the ground, and ate with my hands, it filled me right up, i tossed the bowl to the ground, William was still here, he usually leaves when he gives me my food, I sat on the chair that was in the cage, that was it, a toilet, a bed and a chair, and that was it, i waited for him to speak, but he turned to head to the stairs, but stopped, shaking his head then he turned to look at me, he said something that i thought i would never hear anyone ever say again,
“Your getting out of here with my help. She left for a week in that week. I'm getting you out,”
