Alright, I'll admit it, this was officially the most awkward of our meals. But the most surprising thing, and I had a lot to choose from, was definitely Vigo's behavior. I was left speechless that he wasn't protecting this whole Savannah Girl from Matie's wrath, instead he was just standing next to her with folded arms like he was actually OK with one of his friends scolding or even threatening his Mate. Strange but maybe he's still a bit bitter after what happened yesterday in the basement.
After that little show of strength that Matilda performed Vigo and his new Mate left our table. That's probably for the best, the atmosphere was already ruined and everybody should just take a few deep breaths.
