Natalie was racked with guilt as she attempted to close her eyes for a few hours, finding each attempt to slip away into a state of REM to be interrupted by the bitter fear of having offended her only ally on the grounds of the campus. With each shift of her anatomy beneath the itchy fabric of the blanket left for her, she was reminded of her question due to the presence of his cologne and the absence of the man wearing it. The entire room held his aroma of white musk and mint; something that managed to slip into both her subconscious when asleep and her lively thoughts when awake. She loathed that her curiosity seemed to ruin the comfort and kindness he had with her. And now, she would be forced to share his lecture hall with a look of aggression meeting her with each attempt to drink in
