CHAPTER 120 RAINA’S POV I walked unsteadily past the hallway and towards the living room. The maids that walked past me bowed awkwardly and I could feel their stares lingering on at the back of my head, but I didn’t turn around. I could feel my legs growing weak with each step I took, my mind was aware of the danger behind me. For all I tried to hide the anxiety that troubled my nerves, my heart refused to coordinate with the rest of my body. It was pounding so furiously that I was afraid a passerby would be able to hear the terrified rhythm. I strolled past the living room, my eyes darting around and watching out for any strange movements. I expected someone to just jump on me and bundle my body into chains. I needed to get back to my horse, I would only feel safe when I was miles away
