RAINA’S POV
Betrayal.
A betrayal. That was the only thing I could think about as I strolled languidly back to the pack house. Ethel, Haisley, they had lied to me, especially the latter. He had no plans of getting rid of Haisley when all this was over, it had just been a lie. He had used me to get to Declan and I and been so foolish and gullible to fall for it. I didn’t know what to do, I couldn’t talk to anyone, nor could I send a letter to Ethel. There was no point of all this if I wasn’t going to reclaim what was mine in the end, this only favored Ethel. How could he do this to me?
“What have I done?” I muttered beneath my breath, “Oh dear! f**k! What the hell have I gotten myself into? Declan will kill me! Oh my goodness!”
