RAINA’S POV
Two days later, I had it all figured out.
All Ethel had to do was follow my words to the letter and he would have Declan’s pack at his feet in less than thirty minutes. I spent hours every day just thinking about it, trying to poke holes in the plan and figure out how exactly this could actually go wrong. I felt like I was doing the right thing, it was only a justification for what he had done to my parents. But emotionally, it felt so wrong. It seemed like Declan had completely changed towards me or as though I had swapped bodies with Ariah or something.
It was difficult to admit but, Declan treated me nicely. He wasn’t so cruel anymore and a few times, I had caught him staring at me at the dinner table while I had been attempting to steal glances at him myself
