RAINA’S POV
I was a bit tense as the day passed by. I kept glancing out of the windows of my room, this time I knew King Declan wouldn’t bother to come and check up on me. His mind was crowded with other things more important than I was, if he even saw me as important. I was probably at the bottom of his list of imperative things to worry about…the blonde obviously topping the list.
When the sun came down, my heart was hammering at my side violently. My fingers were trembling, this was a big move I was going to make and I was more determined than ever to get out of here. Get back to my pack and just run into Alpha Ethel’s arms. I would cry to him about all the horrible things I had seen and experienced here and he would coo with his gentle words, while stroking my hair.
