RAINA’S POV
I was now grateful that she had asked me to stand away from her, the tension between us was like a live wire. I could almost reach out and touch it, the stare she gave me was so intense that I could feel the heat coming out of her.
I was scared that I would stammer if I decided to speak, so my hands just fidgeted at the seams of my dress. I didn’t like the aura she gave out. I wondered if she was just a replica of Declan but in a feminine body.
“Are you deaf?” She snapped suddenly. “Or has your tongue ceased to function?”
