"We almost have enough children for me to come forth..." his voice rasped out, echoing through the ocean's depths.
I don't know if I was relieved to hear that or if I was going to drown in my guilt. Being a mother myself and harvesting children for Abaddon was a difficult task. I hated every part of it and wanted nothing to do with it, but unfortunately, we had no choice.
