Fooled

"How is it? It tastes good, doesn't it?" Kylie asked the man sitting beside her who was currently enjoying the food she had given him. Arson was seen eating the food with gusto. "It's delicious. How can you cook this delicious? I want you to cook for me every day," Arson replied while looking at Kylie. The girl struggled to contain her laughter. If I become your wife, then I will cook every day for you, I will even learn to cook from famous chefs so that you can continue to enjoy my cooking, Klie said in her heart. "Therefore, never underestimate the abilities of others!" said Kylie as she lifted her chin, acting arrogant in front of the handsome young man. Arson smiled. "Yes, alright. Now I admit, it turns out that you have abilities that are no less great than Mommy," Arson said and returned to devouring the food that was still above his hand. "Do you really like it?" asked Kylie as she continued to watch Arson's face as he continued to enjoy the food. You're like a vampire, so handsome and perfect! Kylie thought between questions. Drake's eldest son nodded without looking at Kylie as he continued to stuff the food into his mouth. "Okay then, I'll give it to you again tomorrow," Kylie said. "Really?" Arson replied while turning his head quickly towards Kylie. "Yes, take it easy. The shop is open every day so you just have to mention what time you want to eat it," Kylie said and managed to make Arson stop the movement of his mouth and hands which had now returned to staring at the food that was still in its place. The handsome man looked back at Kylie with both cheeks looking puffed up and the young girl could be sure, that inside there was food filled by Arson. "What do you mean?" asked Arson with a confused face and a slightly unclear speech. "Finish the food in your mouth first, then speak. That's very rude! What if Daddy sees it?" said Kylie, ignoring Arson's curiosity. As the young man quickly chewed the food in his mouth, he was eager to hear Kylie's explanation of the girl's words. Feeling that all the food was gone, Arson was about to open his mouth, but Kylie gave Arson a water bottle. "Drink first, so you don't choke," Kylie said. "What do you mean, don't tell me this is food you bought and didn't cook yourself!" Arson repeated his question and tried to guess where Kylie was going with it. The youngest daughter of Drake Adams laughed because Arson could quickly figure out what she said. "Why are you laughing? Quickly answer my question!" said Arson again. The man's curiosity grew, especially after seeing Kylie who looked happy. "You already know so I don't need to explain anymore," said Kylie, who continued to laugh as Arson walked into her trap. The man sitting next to Kylie immediately folded his face, even though he was very happy when he heard Kylie was good at cooking. However, it turned out that it was just a lie made by the girl. "Did I say that I cooked it myself? No, didn't you? I only said that I had prepared food for you. It's your own fault for not asking where it came from and just gobbling it up," said Kylie, who tried to hold back from laughing like before. Kylie was right, she had never said that the food was from her own cooking. She only said that she wanted to give Arson some food. Arson tried to recall Kylie's previous words and it turned out that what the girl said was true. Foolishly he immediately believed it because he was too happy to hear Kylie who had prepared food for him. The man thought that it was like what his mother often did for his father. Turns out he was wrong, Kylie is still Kylie and will never turn into Emily or Valery. "In fact, I'm very happy to be able to taste cooking from your own hands. It turns out I was fooled," Arson said and immediately closed the food box again. "Why don't you finish it?" asked Kylie. "I'm full," she replied and there was a disappointed tone from the man. "I'm sorry, I am. I didn't mean to lie," Kylie said. The girl didn't know that Arson was disappointed not because of Kylie's lies, but because he had always expected too much of her. "No problem. Learn to cook, so you'll be good at it one day," Arson said smiling. More like forced to do so. "Don't underestimate me, I can cook too. Did you forget that while I was in Germany, I always cooked my own breakfast? Even for lunch and dinner I prefer to eat my own food, rather than buying from outside," Kylie said. The handsome man seemed to forget that while Kylie was studying in someone else's country, the girl always tried to live independently. Unlike when she was in Italy, all the servants forbade her to be in the kitchen for fear that something might happen to Kylie. They all thought that Drake's youngest daughter had never been in the kitchen, rather than dealing with Drake Adams, it was better for them to do it. All the servants and bodyguards know very well that Kylie is the darling of the Adams family. "Oh, yeah I forgot. You should be showing me your skills right now. Not only me, but also Daddy. Daddy must be very happy to know that his favorite daughter has started to mix spices," said Arson. "Later, after I get married, I will cook directly for my husband," Kylie said and immediately changed Arson's face. There was no longer a smile floating on the man's face. "Are you planning to get married?" Arson asked without looking at Kylie. The girl who loved Arson also looked at the man who asked her the question, who was currently not looking at her. If only you knew, Son, that I would love to get married. Yes, to marry you, to become Arson Adams' wife, but that is impossible because it would violate the rules of the norm. I no longer know how to tell myself that what I am feeling is wrong. We are brothers, and until death we will never be united as lovers, or husband and wife! If you weren't my brother, you wouldn't have reciprocated the feelings I have, Kylie said to herself as she continued to look at Arson's side as he continued to look towards the left side. Not getting an answer from Kylie made Arson turn his head to look at Kylie. Fortunately, Kylie could read the man's movements and made Kylie divert her gaze, before Arson realized that he continued to pay attention to Drake's eldest son. Kylie also pretended to turn her head towards Arson. "Doesn't everyone have a desire to get married? So do I, even you," Kylie replied. Arson looked speechless and realized that what Kylie had said was true. There was already a great desire in him to marry a woman and live happily with his wife and future children, but it was very difficult because he fell in love with the wrong person. No! It's not the wrong person, it's that there's no holding back when and to whom love will fall.
