A Peck in the Morning

Kylie, who was escorted by Arson, had almost entered the campus area, suddenly Kylie asked to stop at the side of the road which was still quite far from the gate, and managed to surprise Arson.

"Why did you ask to stop here?" asked the man with a suspicious face.

"Don't take me inside!" Kylie replied while looking at Arson.

"What's wrong?" asked Arson again, who was getting suspicious of Kylie's answer.

The beautiful girl snorted.

"It's my first day here. I don't want them all to know that I'm Kylie Adams," said Drake's eldest daughter.

A clueless and confused Arson furrowed his brow, the man sitting next to Kylie did not understand what the girl he loved was saying.

"Tsk. You just don't understand like this," said Kylie who immediately folded her face.

"I don't understand. Why don't you want everyone to know that you're Kylie Adams? Even if you don't tell everyone on campus, they'll know if they see the bodyguard you brought. Not to mention if the lecturer introduces you in front of all your new friends," Arson said as if asking for an explanation from the girl.

"It's all because of Daddy! It's so hard to comply with my requests, even though I only asked for all the bodyguards to stay a little away from me, not that I didn't want to use them. Come on, Son! Just do me a favor this time and tell them all to stay away from me," Kylie whined to the man she loved.

"I can't! I don't dare. If anything happens to you, Daddy will be mad at me," Arson replied, shaking his head.

"I promise just today. Please," Kylie pleaded again while clasping her hands together with a slight tilt of her head at a distance close enough to Arson, plus the girl's pleading face made the heart of the man in front of her beat much faster than before.

Arson tried hard to restrain himself to look normal in front of Kylie.

"Give me one reason why you want the bodyguards to stay far away from you?" Arson asked, asking Kylie to tell him the reason. If it made sense, then he would comply, but if not, then don't expect any of that to happen.

However, could Arson refuse Kylie's request? It seems very difficult, considering the man loves the youngest daughter of Drake Adams very much.

Kylie took a deep breath and then exhaled slowly. "It's nothing serious, it's just that I want to see on my first day of college. Does anyone want to be friends with me, not because I'm Kylie Adams, but because I'm a freshman? From there I can see which friends are sincere and which friends just want to take advantage of my presence," Kylie said with a big smile.

Hearing the explanation given by the woman who managed to melt his heart, made Arson understand and agree with the words given by Kylie. The man also did not want the woman he loved to be used by others, even though it was very unlikely, considering Kylie was also not a fool who could just believe what other people said.

Arson chose silence to digest Kylie's words again. Should he comply with the woman he loved's request or keep the bodyguards to follow Kylie?

Seeing Arson who was just silent, not giving any answer made the beautiful girl whine again.

"I promise only today and I also make sure that all the bodyguards are not too far away from me. So they can still move quickly if something happens to me like you're afraid of," Kylie said and smiled broadly at the man who continued to disturb her thoughts.

Arson continued to stare deeply into Kylie's face. Kylie's request was difficult because both answers he would give were equally risky.

"I promise just for today," Kylie said again and put on another pitiable face, hoping that the man in front of her would melt.

It has been said that hearing the whining given by Kylie made it difficult for Arson to refuse. Finally, the man nodded his head in compliance with the idol's request.

"Okay, but only today there is no reason for tomorrow and so on," said Arson and managed to make Kylie so happy that it made the girl scream then immediately hugged Arson's body and managed to make the man freeze.

"Thank you so much, Son. You are the best. I love you," said Kylie, and soon she came to her senses and rounded her eyes. However, she did not immediately release the hug between them for fear that Arson would see her embarrassed face.

Kylie also let go of the hug she was in.

"Come on, tell them all not to follow me!" Kylie ordered Arson to cover the nervousness she felt after hugging the handsome man beside her.

"Not follow you?" repeated Arson, raising one eyebrow and giving the youngest an intimidating look.

It was only a few minutes ago that Kylie had made an agreement with Arson that the bodyguards could follow her, but now Kylie was suddenly telling him not to follow her.

"Watching from a good distance I mean," Kylie corrected her words as she smiled broadly and gave Arson her index and middle fingers making a V.

Arson was still staring at Kylie, without answering a word.

"Come on, tell them not to follow me from such a close distance!" pleaded Kylie again for fear that Arson would change his mind by staying silent.

The handsome young man quickly got out of the car and approached some of Kylie's bodyguards who were already waiting for their lady.

Kylie looked at Arson and his bodyguards, she actually wanted to know what they were talking about. Did Arson comply with her request or did he ask all his bodyguards to tighten their guard?

After talking to Kylie's men for not too long, Arson walked back to the side door where Kylie was sitting and opened the door for the beautiful girl to come down.

"I've asked them not to get too close to you, but remember only today. If there is anything suspicious, tell them immediately, if necessary, tell me immediately," Arson told Kylie with a serious face.

It was actually hard for him to do that, but again for reasons of love, he could not refuse the request of the girl who was sitting in front of him. Kylie, who heard that, looked happy and smiled widely.

"You are amazing and reliable," Kylie said as she got out of Arson's car.

"Remember my message from earlier! You haven't answered it yet," Arson reminded her sister.

"Yes, yes, you have nothing to fear. I heard it clearly," Kylie said, playing with her lips a little.

"Then, I'll go first. You be careful on the road and don't drive at high speed!" Kylie ordered the tall man standing in front of her. The girl didn't want anything to happen to the man she loved.

Arson smiled and nodded. "Come in, you'll be late," Arson said.

Suddenly Kylie kissed the man's cheek and then walked away while waving her hand, Kylie deliberately moved directly away from Arson to cover the nervousness she felt. Kylie didn't know where she got the courage to do that. The girl cursed herself a little, but she did not regret it. She even continued to smile all the way, without looking back at Arson.

While Arson after getting a peck from the girl he loved in the morning, made his enthusiasm even higher to do today's activities, even Arson's cheeks turned red with embarrassment. Fortunately, no one saw that, his sparkling eyes were covered by the sunglasses he wore.

After making sure that Kylie had completely disappeared from his sight and entered safely with the assigned bodyguards, Arson got back into his car to immediately go to the office. The man did not want to be late, even though he was the owner of the company, setting a good example had become a habit of the Adams family.
