Now that Kylie was standing on the front lawn of the campus, the girl seemed mesmerized by her family's campus and how much it had changed, becoming more grand and luxurious. Drake's favorite daughter walked around the entire campus, where so many cars were parked that it could be ascertained that all the car owners were from all the students and also students at the campus who were none other than most of them came from quite wealthy families.
"Wow, the cars are so cool," Kylie said and moved closer to a luxury car, but not as luxurious as her family members.
Suddenly, a girl came out of the car.
"What are you doing?" she asked with a sardonic look.
Kylie smiled and shook her head. "I just want to see," she replied, smiling even wider.
"Don't touch my car! It's an expensive car," said the girl again, standing close to Kylie.
The girl's eyes kept looking at Kylie, afraid that the youngest daughter of the Adams family would damage her luxury car.
The girl with the blue bead rounded her mouth with a small nod of her head and walked away from the parking lot.
Kylie walked back to the class that had been notified by the lecturer last night through her private chat. The girl did not need to visit the lecturer's office first before entering the class, even Kylie could immediately choose which seat she liked without having to care if it was already owned by other students.
As she walked, she kept smiling at the other students who didn't know she was Kylie Adams. Kylie could see that some students returned the greetings she gave, but some female students looked sarcastically at her, while some of her other bodyguards were very far away from the girl so as not to arouse suspicion from some of the students who were there.
"Why is the atmosphere here so different from when I was in Germany? Not all of them are like that, but some look at me sarcastically like that. Do they often do that to new students?" Kylie monologued as she continued to walk. She didn't care about the few eyes that were looking disapprovingly at her.
The girl's feet continued to move so casually.
"Where's Jeykey? I didn't see him earlier. Her car isn't in the parking lot either. Did he skip class today? I'm going to complain to Daddy," said Kylie again, who couldn't find her brother while she was on campus.
The girl resumed her walk.
Arriving in front of the elevator, Kylie joined the queue like other students. As she was about to step inside, she was suddenly bumped by a group of female students. Kylie tried to look and it turned out to be the girl who had a luxury car while in the parking lot earlier. Drake's youngest daughter was still casually staring at them.
"Why are you looking at me like that? You were the one in the parking lot earlier, right? The one who tried to touch my expensive car?" the girl asked Kylie while crossing her arms in front of her chest.
Kylie, who knew that the woman was talking to her, immediately looked right and left, as if she didn't know that the woman was talking to her.
"Hey, I'm talking to you! Looks like you're a new student here. No wonder you don't know that this elevator can't be used by others if I'm already here," the foreign girl said again while looking disparagingly at Kylie, while the other students could only look at the girl with bemused looks.
The only daughter in the Adams family also turned to one of the male students standing not far from her.
"Is this elevator his?" Kylie asked the man.
"Never mind, just let her get on first. She's being all pretty and powerful here," the man replied.
"Hey, are you insulting me?" said the stranger who didn't take kindly to the man answering Kylie's question.
"Why? Don't you like it? We're all sick of you, and the son of the owner of this college isn't as arrogant as you. Should I call Mr. Jeykey over here to shut you up," said the male student.
The foreign girl gave a displeased look at the man not far from Kylie.
"Is he like that? Why do you have to call the son of the owner of this campus? Can't you handle it yourselves?" chided Kylie a little angrily.
"We can, we're not afraid of him at all. It's just that we want to make a scene on campus because the owner has said we can't make noise. Instead of D.O., it's scary!" the man explained.
Kylie furrowed her brows. They would all rather be belittled by others than fear being expelled from the campus. Even though they didn't make any mistakes at all. The girl wondered if Jeykey and her father knew about this matter. She would ask them directly after class.
The girl was about to open her mouth but decided against it when she heard the words of Drake's youngest daughter.
"So he's just being all-powerful here? Well, that means this elevator is shared. I think her parents built this elevator, especially for her," Kylie said and managed to make all the students laugh.
"You dare insult me? Remember. You're only a freshman here so don't mess with me!" the girl threatened Kylie.
All of Kylie's bodyguards who had been watching her Nonanya who was almost pushed by the strange girl, would have approached if not given the code by Kylie to keep monitoring from a distance because she could still handle a cockroach like the one in front of her.
"Oh, I'm so scared," Kylie said as she hugged herself.
Again, all the students who were gathered to wait for their turn to take the elevator laughed.
Kylie looked mockingly at the women. It wasn't long before the clanking of the elevator made the girls prepare to get in first. Kylie didn't care at all and invited them all to get on first. One bad judgment from her for the four women, who acted like they were in charge of her parents' campus. It was things like this that Kylie wanted to know, what was on the ground.
Jeykey, on the other hand, did not mention anything like this. Maybe it was because all the students already knew that Jeykey was the son of the Adams family, while on her alone maybe most people had forgotten. Given that he had been abroad for quite a while, plus their father was closed to the public about his son and daughter, especially about Kylie.
Now it was Kylie's turn and several other students entered the elevator followed by two bodyguards, who could not possibly let Kylie alone in the closed space.
All the students glanced at the bodyguards with fear.
While waiting to reach their destination, Kylie suddenly heard a question from a student beside her.
"Are you Miss Kylie Adams?" the male student asked probingly and then, looked back at the two well-built men standing at the far end.
Hearing a question like that made everyone in there surprised and immediately looked at Kylie, as well as the tomboy girl who stood quite far from Kylie.
The youngest daughter of Drake Adams did not answer, she just smiled broadly and then shook her head. A slightly ambiguous answer for those in there.
The elevator opened and Kylie stepped out first to find her class which the two men certainly didn't follow immediately. Actually, if she wanted to, she would have arrived earlier, but because she wanted to take her time and walk around her campus, she slowed down her pace.
"Did you hear me?!" someone snapped from inside the classroom.
A girl could only stay silent and slumped in the middle of her seat. The girl couldn't fight back, let alone retaliate. She didn't have any courage because the woman who had just yelled at her was one of the children of a businessman in their town, while the girl was just the daughter of an ordinary employee.
It wasn't long before another girl, who was standing up, pulled the hair of the seated girl known as Daisy. Daisy could only grimace in pain while holding her head and could only surrender because almost every day she received such treatment.
"It seems like just one day you won't make me angry, you can't! You can't even do the assignments! Are you trying to keep me from getting a grade from the lecturer today?" the girl asked again.
Daisy could only shake her head as the woman's pull grew stronger.
"Looks like I have to give you more lessons than usual!" the girl said again.
"I'm sorry, you can just take my assignment. I really couldn't do all of your assignments last night because there were too many assignments," Daisy said, trying to request that the girl pulling her hair not do anything worse, while the other students could only look at Daisy without wanting to help at all.
"Your assignment will still be mine, but I won't let you get away with it either. I'm going to teach you a lesson so that you don't repeat this to us again!" the girl said again and then tried to drag Daisy.
