Accustomed to living independently in Germany herself, Kylie was already up early, The girl wanted to do morning exercises because she didn't have any schedule that day. Kylie immediately came out of the room to see if the other residents of the house were awake or still asleep. The girl was surprised to see Arson walking towards her, she thought that he was still asleep.
"You're awake, Son," Kylie asked the handsome man who was now in front of her.
The cold-faced man nodded. "Do you think I'm still sleeping?" Arson asked back.
"Yeah, I thought a rich kid like you would have spent the morning until sunrise!" Kylie replied casually.
"You're also the son of the richest man in Italy, but why are you up already?"
Arson turned Kylie's question around and managed to make the girl laugh.
"It's different. I'm used to getting up early for school, whereas you're not," Kylie replied.
Arson smiled and then, ruffled the hair of the girl he loved.
"I have to go to the office early in the morning, not like Jeykey who can just go to college!" Arson told Kylie that he had to be a good example to his employees at the company.
Of Drake's children, Arson is the busiest because almost 80% of Drake's work is taken over by the first son of the Adams family. This is then delegated to Carly, as the second son. Jevin is a little relaxed because he has only held a few companies, while Jeykey should not be asked, the man is still a student so he is more focused on the basic business subjects he will be involved in.
There is no malice among Drake's three sons in managing the company. They did not envy each other when Arson first gained the trust to hold more than half of the company owned by Drake, even Arson was the second leader after Drake in the mafia group that had been built long ago.
"Where are you going?" asked Kylie again at the handsome man in front of her. Even though Kylie had seen that Arson was also wearing a tracksuit like her.
"I want to go fishing!" Arson replied with a flat face.
Kylie rounded her lips. She knew that Drake's first son was joking, answering her question.
"That's a lot, enough for our lunch later," Kylie joked back.
Arson just made a sour face at Kylie for always being the target of the youngest's pranks.
Arson immediately put his arm around Kylie's shoulders and stunned her a little.
Since she realized her feelings for Arson, Kylie was always misbehaving in front of Arson, and often her heart was beating due to Arson's sudden treatment like a man who treated his woman very well. However, Kylie is always aware of the fact that Arson's treatment is the same as that of Drake's other three sons.
"Come on, let's go now!" he said and immediately pulled Kylie's body.
The pretty girl could only obey, following wherever Arson would take her. She knew that the handsome man would be doing some exercise this morning.
The two of them continued to walk down each flight of stairs. For some reason Kylie preferred to go up and down using the stairs rather than the elevator, Even several times when in her apartment Kylie wanted to go down using it if not prohibited by all her bodyguards because at that time Kylie was on a fairly high floor, it could drain the beautiful girl's energy.
"Do you exercise every morning?" asked Kylie as they warmed up before their morning run.
"Almost every day," Arson replied. A loving look was given by the handsome man that Kylie didn't notice.
Arson nodded his head, giving her the code that he was ready to run.
Kylie nodded in response to the code given by Arson.
Drake's son and daughter began to jog, making their way through the yard to the basketball court.
"Do you jog there too?" Arson asked Kylie who was beside him.
"Yes, every day. Sometimes if I don't exercise for a day, my body hurts. Maybe it's because I'm used to it," Kylie replied.
Arson already knew that. He kept tabs on Kylie from the several bodyguards who guarded her. They would all give Arson reports on whatever the girl was doing and almost all of Kylie's activities were known to Arson, but the man acted as if he knew nothing about Kylie.
In the middle of his run Arson would nod his head to fool Kylie, as if he just knew about it.
"Did you sleep well last night?" Arson asked.
The man thought although the room Kylie was currently in was her own, but the few years Kylie had been in her apartment room, it was possible that Kylie felt a little different.
"Very, very well. You know I miss that room almost every night when I sleep. I want to go home immediately!" Kylie replied.
"What is it that makes you miss that room?" Arson asked again in the middle of their run.
Kylie halted her pace, causing Arson to do the same.
Kylie looked up at the tall man. "I miss Mommy," Kylie replied with a sad face.
Arson knew all too well how Kylie felt, he was so young when the woman who gave birth to him left. Let alone Kylie, his teenage self had missed his mother at the time, but they couldn't defy fate when he promised to return to God. All he could do at that time was to let go of his mother because it was not only him who felt devastated by being left behind, but all, especially Drake. It was the first time he saw his famously fierce father suddenly whiny and messy, even Arson heard every night that his father was crying while looking at his wife's face.
Arson approached and then, gently rubbed the beautiful girl's cheek.
Kylie looked closely at Arson's face which always made her embarrassed, she was afraid that her cheeks would turn red in front of the handsome man.
"Already, don't be sad anymore! Remember. Mommy is happy in Heaven, we can't cry because it will make Mommy sad too. Daddy has managed to keep us this big, and that must make Mommy happy. Better pray for Mommy and be a good child," said Arson, whose hands cupped Kylie's cheeks this time.
Kylie blinked her eyes, one side releasing her gaze and the other side throwing away her sadness about the memory of the woman she didn't know if it was the woman who had given birth to her.
Both of them smiled back at each other. Without them realizing it, someone had been watching the two of them, especially focusing on Arson who treated Kylie like no other.
